WOW I bought ONE grab bag and was soooo hoping for Dreamfall, then Samantha Swift, then Unmechanical, then Kings Bounty, and then whatever...
My first key was DREAMFALL! My second key was SAMANTHA SWIFT! My third key was UNMECHANICAL and my forth key was KINGS BOUNTY and then I got Armed 7... (a pretty good game too)
So I hit all my wants IN THE ORDER of the wants... what are the odds of THAT!?!?!?!?!?!

Because rules are rules and apply for everyone. And while "No trading on the SteamGifts forums." might not be the most important rule here on SteamGifts there still have to be consequences for breaking it or otherwise those people will think they are smart for ignoring the rules and will keep doing it if they get off with a warning.
Edit: Don't get me wrong I'm not for permabanning for breaking minor rules but there has to be some slap on the wrist and for me that's pretty much what a 3 day suspension is.

Swapping a few games from the same bundle so everyone got what they wanted. I had to refresh 6 times to finally understand it was not SG not working properly but me being suspended. Yes. If somebody intentionally breaks the rules and gets away with it I assume they do feel smart about it and think other people are stupid for sticking to them.
The crucial part is the intentionally. Since I already know you a little bit I would assume you did it unintentionally which renders the feeling smart part mute in your case but trust me I've seen plenty of people break the rules intentionally here on SG and more often than not, if they get off with a warning they will do it again.
Also didn't everybody want the same desireable games from this Grab bag which makes trading pretty much impossible anyway? I mean sure... one man's trash is another man's treasure but I still highly doubt anybody would trade let's say Dreamfall for Gunmonkeys or Electronic Super Joy :D

Of course ;) While I might not be the most communicative person outsite of the SG forums you have plenty of symphathy points on your balance for me to cut you some slack. Afterall we all have days where the lid sits a bit loosely on the pot ;)

Crap so serious question here. I see a lot of people getting dupes. So how am I supposed to know if I get a dupe if I already own a game since steam only tells you that you own it even if the key was used by someone else...

Correct, otherwise it will tell you you already own the game, just Ctrl+C the code before that, and then proceed to Installation to see what the game is, then cancel - same as always :)

That is not what I am asking. I know how to see what the game is. I am talking about people have been getting dupe keys from the grab bags as in already used keys, when redeeming an already used key on steam it will tell you that the key was redeemed by another account however if you own the game it doesnt say that it just says owned no matter if the key has been used or not..
