Is it safe to buy here?

So, i was looking for a cheap batman arkham city key, and i found this site: mygamekeys , the shop has been around for only 5 months and i'm not sure if it's legit. Has anybody already bought here? Can i trust it? Are there any issues regarding steam if i get the game by gift instead of key? Sorry for my bad english; any advice would be appreciated

I'm new to buying keys, i'll give that a try. Btw, once i've bought the game, how do they send it to me? Do they need my steam account?

I think you are better off just doing the safe thing here and sticking to well-known stores. A lot of these smaller sites just seem like they can't be trusted.

thanks man, you saved me. Till now i've always bought retail or from steam, just recently i found out cheap key sites, however i just got scared, i won't buy from them

You buy a TF2 crate key or DOTA2 treasure key from the Steam community market for $2.30-ish, trade that TF2 key for your Batman game, and spend WAY less.

And since Batman AC GOTY is a bundle leftover, if you look the right places on Reddit (IndieGameSwap since SteamGameSwap banned partial bundle trading) or SteamTrades, etc, you will find people that will trade 2-4 bundle games for 1 TF2 key.

Also, the TF2 key, since you sound like you're totally new to trading, is the Mann Co. Crate Key, in case you get confused when trying to find the key to buy one.

ok, i found this (http://www.steamtrades.com/forum/a0Ne9/h-arkham-city-anno-2070-jc2-monaco-bundle-games-wraresrefs-cards-keys-gifts) , i'd be interested in the "Humble WB games Bundle BTA - 4keys" , i think it means he wants 4 dota2 treasure keys, am i wrong? I don't have them, but if i make an offer, he accepts and i immediately buy them and trade, could i do it? thanks for your help

Yes. For 4 Dota2 treasure keys or 4 Team Fortress 2 Mann Co. Crate Keys, he will trade you all the games from the Over Average Humble WB Bundle. If you still need help, I sent you an invite on Steam for easier discussion.

Yes, that is correct. I don't know where you would plan to buy keys from, but if it's from the Mann Co. store there may be a short waiting period before they become tradeable.

Many people take paypal, steam wallet, cards/key (that can all be bought on Steam Market with Steam Wallet), etc. If you have something to buy from the store you probably have that same thing to offer to the traders? Batman games were in a Humble Bundle, so they shouldn't cost much, there were some scammers buying them with stolen credit cards though, so those got revoked later (so watch out who you trade with).

Well that bundle was months ago and with the scam you are describing they usually priced it below the average for a quick sell. I just looked it up and the average closed at $4.77 so anything less than 3 keys or so (about $6) I would be suspicious of.

Dunno where you live, but lots of Dutch shops sell both the older 2 Batman games for €6 boxed. Registering that old key (prolly needs a WB support ticket to get a steam key instead of GFWL) worked well for me.

Not so sure about this site, however, you can wait for any bundle or Steam sales :) I got Batman from Humble Bundle, worth it xD, wish you was there too :(

Just buy 2 keys on the Steam Marketplace and sell them for AC GOTY on steamtrades. A key is around 1.80 euros.
