Is it?
It's nice and calm in here - a place beyond their reach - who am I talking about? - those malicious level up service groups - so evil that they could be baddies in movies or video games.
Seriously, if you dislike being in touch with this stuff, just cut yourself off from it. If it doesnt have any other way to invade your life, then problem is solved.
As for hate itself - let it flow through you. :)

For a trifle or small things no as they aren't worth it but for the worst of the worst things it's totally ok. :O

only problem is, the worst of the worst can be subjective

Subjective? Not for those that are involved in the first person like for example homophobia, racism, terrorism, anti-Semitism, pedophilia, human trafficking, illegal organ trade, genocide and so much more. Those things are for all intents and purposes the worst of the worse.

well, they aren't sharing, so we can't know for sure

i dont really ...care .
Your steam level is irrelevant thing.
The only badge i actually cared about was the Long Live the Queen one , cause i love the game .
the whole steam level thing is just a way for volvo to make money out of nothing .
Ofc there are the fanatics who care about that kinda stuff ( hell some guy refused to trade with me cause my steam level was too low a while back )
Me ... i just ignore the invites ... i treat them the same way as the scammers ... waste of server space

Who cares about steam level?--I have no idea what mine is

Steam level is as worthless number as number of games, achievements and whatever stats you get in games. It's just the Steam manager/clicker game where you don't have to play if you don't want to. But imagining it's anything different than playing some other game while feeling superior is just silly.

It's just faster to buy for 2 keys a lot of cards for badges and don't try to find the cheapest cards, creating sets from them. I just want to have more showcases easily, I don't care about all those badges. The only badges that mean something to me are "Director of Acquisitions" (number of games) and "Years of Service" (how long I am on Steam). I like to do those Steam Sales badges too, because they require you to actually do something, not just having a lot of money.

I hate level up bots, level up services, level up service groups, being invited to them, spammed by them, and the fact that they appear to not be doing anything wrong.
I just feel sketched out by them. Some just take in cards or other items and give out sets of cards for people to level with for instance, it just feels like laundering dirty crap to me. Because whatever they get is likely legitimate but who knows how they got the sets they have - or at least I cannot be sure how they got them. When I can't trace back things to their origins, or understand someone's motives for providing a "service" I tend to feel like there's something dirty going on.
Am I just paranoid?
If you are someone who used or uses level services, I do not hate you. Nor do I fault you for doing that. But maybe someone who understands them a little better can explain to me this plague of level up bots that seem to outnumber everything else on steam.
p.s. I can't promise I'll stop hating them, but I can promise I still won't use them regardless of the info provided here.
