Hi everyone,

While I'm logged in to Steam, open my inventory and try to use Advanced Filters or text search I get this error message:

"This inventory is not available at this time. Please try again later."

I've tried with Firefox, Chrome and even with the Steam Client, though I really need it to work on Chrome to mass sale cards.

Now, the strange thing is that if I am NOT logged in, I can use the Advanced Filters with no problem, proof: https://s28.postimg.org/ja48ziwtp/hartmansteaminventory.jpg

I asked a friend on Steam if he could use the Advanced Filters, by checking my inventory here: https://steamcommunity.com/id/HartmannJ/inventory/

He said that he couldn't do it too. Can anyone else comment on this?
I've sent an email to Steam Support.

This was also posted in https://www.steamgifts.com/discussion/jFQeK/this-inventory-is-not-available-at-this-time-please-try-again-later
that was 1 month and other user 1 week ago, so I think it is NOT related to the sale\servers busy.
I have also been trying and re-trying every hour for a couple of days.

Best wishes and happy Saturnalia,
Hartmann

Thanks for the replies.

That is not working either. And I do have over 8K items.

But damn, what explains that it does work when not logged in?

Visit https://steamcommunity.com/id/HartmannJ/inventory/ in a browser you're not logged in Steam, the Advanced Filters work!

I do have over 5K items, and this problem hit me. Valve may have broken something when they upgrade, or degrade in other words, their system?

Yes, it's still broken.

I asked others and talked about this problem. I think it only affects a small portion of users whose inventory contains thousands of items.

I start to get the issue when i get over 300 cards in my inventory ... its working fine if i stay bellow that number.

It is clear that it's about too many loads at once. What did Valve break this time! :/

So.. this problem started in december 2016 for me... and is random.. ether the cs-go tab or the community (cards) tab.
It's stupid because right now my cs-go inventory of 170 items will not load, but the 6000 community inventory will load with-out a problem.

Yep, the issue has already existed for months, however, it feels like it's getting worse.

Noticed its that recently too in my own or other users inv ... didn't matter if its the steam client (which is a chromium build browser = chrome) / chrome browser / or the awfully slowed down firefox that doesn't work well for the chrome optimized steam-garbage-coding ...

Seemed as if its a server related issue > more load (users doing stuff / event or anything alike)
the higher the chance its buggy, in addition to your server-requests being limited.

Like right now (my region): low/normal server load - no issue, works even fast. https://steamstat.us/

From yesterday, now my inventory works to load individual item pages like; http://steamcommunity.com/id/jongizombie/inventory/#753_6_4054974277
But still, if I open two or more of individual item pages at the same time, the same error appeared.
