There's no privacy anymore really. Paypal shares all your transactions with your government and credit score companies. Google shares all your data with the government on demand. Any company does and those that don't get in trouble.
The only legitimate concern you can have is having Microsoft getting 'hacked' and your CC information leaked.

Didn't work for me... It says "Open either GeForce Experience or the NVIDIA app beta with a GeForce GTX 10 Series or newer desktop PC or laptop". I tried both apps, and both apps wouldn't work on my PC. I don't have a gaming laptop, so that may be why.
Also, does anyone know... Can you upgrade your account to Ultimate? If so, do you just pay the difference?

If someone gives you a code, is there a way to hold onto it before redeeming? It looks like you need to go to microsoft to redeem it right away. Otherwise, someone else will come in and beat you to it. I am trying to get a code, but want to wait to redeem it.

As far as I know (read) you could wait a bit to redeem it, up until the codes/promo expires. BUT you must be the only one with access to the code; otherwise is just like you said.
In my case I dont have GamePass, had like 2 years ago. Also have an account that never had it, the one sync'ed to windows which I could use if my main (steam and other platforms) would be no go.
Since the promo concluded either today or when all were taken, and not having an nvidia GPU to claim it myself, I can kiss that chance goodbye now.
We still have our backlog tho, is not like it's life or death situation so yeah.. Kudos to those who managed to claim it and a meh/disgust to those who claimed multiple codes just to resell, or worse yet: let them rot unused.
