If you didn't get it then you shouldn't have marked it as received.
He also has a private Steam profile and is under suspension on this site. I'm assuming that he may have scammed others too and that is why he was suspended.
I think that this may be considered "calling out" so don't be too surprised if you join him soon.

He doesn't have it on his account, so probably just marked as received without receiving, or who knows what really happened, he just has to delete the content of this thread and contact support and provide the proofs he consider necessary. Then the staff will ask the giver.

Yet, you marked it as received?
Edit: Well, turns out you did receive the game, but then it got removed by steam.
Maybe you should of said so in your OP to prevent comments like mine.
Also, im sure this is calling out and not allowed, you should remove the links to the gifter's profile.

So, you don't have the game, and have it marked as received?
Comment has been collapsed.
I'm guessing here but I think the OP is talking about a possibility that the gifter backout out on his/her paymant (or similiar) and now the winner of the giveaway lost his/her game.

I'm not sure if English is your first language or not but it's hard to tell from your OP what you are saying. Rather than calling the rest of us stupid maybe you should read the replies and figure out why they are not giving you the answers that you are looking for.

Firstly, if you win a gift a person must give a game in one week. After 7 days you can mark a gift as not received so the person who you won from should know he need to give you a gift, If he refuses after that THEN you contatc steamgifts support about that.

There was already a post about this guy yesterday. Yes the stuff he bought was purchased with a stolen credit card, that's not news. Just mark it as not received and move on with your life. Why are you getting so mad? You are going to get suspended for calling out so just close this thread before you make it harder on yourself.

For starters, you don't seem to have had problems with your previous 4 wins, which tends to debunk your question. I can understand your frustration, since Skyrim LE would have been quite a win. However, you should really listen to people's advice and remove urls and names from your post, or risk being suspended for calling out. I wish you better luck from now on.
Edit: After a few site hiccups, I've noticed the giveaway creator is already suspended, presumably for doing the same thing with his other giveaways. I've also seen it was a new user, giving away an inordinate number of non-bundle games. That's not necessarily a scam, but it does raise some flags. I suggest you enter such giveaways with accordingly adjusted expectations in the future.

Why scam? Did you paid him anything in return to get the game? No, so stop calling a fake gift a "scam".
Comment has been collapsed.
The person who gave him the gift was a scammer because he used a fraudulent payment method to buy this game from Steam, that why it was removed. The only person who has the fault of this is who gave him this fraudulently paid game, but seems he is blaming Steamgifts for this.

Yah, okay i understood that, it was just this big scream of the word "scam" that annoyed me.. at the end he got a fake giveaway, "scam" always meant to me that he got scamed, what clearly doesnt happend..he just lost some points for his giveaway-entry, no real money or something similar.

Hey, people here understand how frustrated you will be. BUT!
CALIING OUT IS FORBIDDEN! Everybody up there (or below for plus),is telling you to remove the user link from the thread.
FOR YOUR OWN SAKE!!! And all you're interested in is people not saying how bad that somebody is and not how people are trying to save you from trouble.

I just checked the gifter's steamrep and steamtrades profiles. Looks like s/he was using stolen credit cards.
Comment has been collapsed.
I especially like the report on Steamrep where someone traded him Steam gifts of Dead Island Riptide and Thief: Deadly Shadows in return for keys of Skyrim: Legendary Edition and Batman Arkham Origins. I'm sorry but that's just plain stupid. The trade isn't anywhere close to even value. Any trade that lopsided should immediately raise a warning flag.

I guess some people don't really care about "even" or "plausible" trading. They are just so happy to get a good deal that they don't see the warning signs at all.

calm down...so you lost a game, that happens..move on and talk to support.

Because it is the rules. What if he wasn't? What if it were a mistake? We do not condemn people because they MIGHT be scammers.
Comment has been collapsed.
That is true but not all cases are so black and white. That is why we have to treat all of them like they aren't.

ok gonna try to transalte this to the people that aren't understanding the op. What happened was that the person in question did infact buy the games and send them to the winners, hence the op marking it as received. However it seems that the person in question used a frudulent purchase method and therefore the games were removed by steam. The reason op made this post is because the person in question used this fraudulent method to giveaway seemingly legit copies to boost his cv by a lot.
For the OP you should still remove giveaway link and user profile cuz it's calling out and it's against the rules of the forum and will get you suspended(I agree people deserve to know but he was already suspended and rules are meant to be followed no matter what).

And to add to "Antlan5"'s post, if he gave you a game that was fradulently purchased (i.e. it was removed from your Steam account), contact Steam and tell them of the problem. Report the user here on SG. There's nothing else that can be done. Unfortunately you ran into a bad apple and in my experience, that is a rare case on here.

read above, game was removed from acc..so marking "received" was legit in that case. ;)
Edit: Okay, saw your edit...ignore my post.^^
