Not particularly bothered about flowers. Sure, they make the garden look nicer, but the work involved just is annoying.
On second thought, I'd rather give someone flowers than get them ;)

I actually prefer to not get flowers as they die but I love growing them.
Chocolate cosmos are wonderful because they actually smell like chocolate!

I used to bring my mother flowers when I came to visit on weekends. Personally I prefer watching the little allergy bundles from afar.

That is cool, a Japanese styled garden. They are quite often tranquil.
The last time we bought plants/flowers we especially bought ones that are attractive for butterfly's and bees. Now we see them a lot more. I can see that a section full with these flowers might attract a lot of insects as well.

I like to pick up flowers from the sorroundings when we are taking a walk. I have a lot of places on sight. Sometimes when there is a distraction i have enough time to buy some to a local florist but what i most like is to get it spontaneously even when i have a plan, it works! it will always work! I doesn't matter if it's the biggest or the most beautiful. In the place i live you can get Jasmines and all kind of beautiful flowers on the go if you know where to look without messing with the other's garden.

Well, I just went to the flower shop to get a nice bouquet for my wife. But to my surprise the shells where empty. The flowertruck hasn't arrived yet. So sadly I arrived home without flowers. At least I got some sweet strawberries instead. They are red as well.
