Too many permissions for a cloud app. I wonder if they will revoke my free space after I uninstall the app from my mobile (which I already did for Baidu and Tencent).

I'm probably never going to use it; and too much work to sign up for that. I think i'll stick to skydrive and 25 gb.

Sure, and get all your data scanned by the NSA. Good idea you have there.

You'd rather MSS scan your data?

They ain't much of a threat now. Their purpose is to "protect" their people, not to bother with us foreigners unless needed.

So basically you don't care if foreign intelligence agencies look through your stuff, you just don't your country's ones to do it?

Stuff like what? I hardly care who looks through it, as long as they leave my stuff alone. I'm looking at you dropbox.

That's why my cloud storage is full of quines (infinitely recursive archives).

Does any of this have direct-linking for file downloads? If not, I don't see much reason to switch from another service.

Qihoo360 Cloud does have a share feature, but that's limited up to 2000 files.

Do not trust china's company like baidu or qihoo because they will charge after a lot of people updated date to the cloud storage.

Unfortunately, they are competing all with each other in China, so they can't afford to actually make the people pay. If they did, there would be outrage.

They can limit download speed or you can endure 100K/S.

How are all of them going to limit download speed? If all of them do, an outcry I forsee.
Also, the speeds are pretty good. I gotten at least 600KBps on average. It's mostly higher, and I'm heavily undermining.

Baidu dont limit speed now because Baidu's product is new and want to get market share from xunlei, tencent, etc. You can try the cloud storage of xunlei or tencent(QQ) then you will know that you can't reach a normal speed if you are not VIP.

Baidu has other ways to make them money, so they don't have to do the VIP method.
