You check steamdb. Right now it's not locked (meaning you could trade for a preorder right now and activate it) but that CAN and probably WILL change before release (meaning that the copy you activated, upon release, will not let you play.) Check again after the game is released and if it's still not restricted trade with a russian and have fun.

Actually, that's not true. The preorder copy that can be purchased from the Russian store is region-free, and in this case the region restriction cannot be retroactively applied upon release, like it happened with Aliens:CM, simply because there is no RU/CIS version of this game at all - every store page sells the same copy at different prices.

Also NZ. I understand the logic behind the Russian pricing, but in the case if NZ/AUS, it's just dirty, low-down price gouging.

They can all go and stick an entire legion, pointy spears and all, where the sun fails to shine...
