I'm looking to buy a new mouse, my price range is ~$50. My current one works fine, but i would like to try something new. My new mouse pad is kinda slippery and throws my aim off slightly, but maybe it's something i need to get used to i don't know. DPI, the back and forward buttons is more than enough for me. Wired, medium to large in size is a plus. Also i'm a palm grip type of person.

Any good suggestions? Thanks.

I'd get the Steelseries Diablo 3 / Black Ops 2 mouse, which is essentially a Sensei, but $10-20 cheaper. I have the regular version and it's really good.

Seconded. If you can't find one of the Diablo/Black Ops variants (or if they're not your style), you should be able to find the RAW model of the Sensei (fundamentally the same device, but with a few of the more exotic/top-end features removed) for ~$50.

I've been using a Gigabyte M6880 for years and I have to say it performs way better than what the price tag suggests.

I got a sugestion, lower your sensitivity in games instead of buying a new mouse because you have a slipery mouse pad.

Razer Deathadder is best gaming mouse you'll ever see, not that shit Logitech.

I went through 3 of them in 6 months. One just died, the other two had faulty microswitches and started double-clicking. Just before that, I had Logitech MX500 for over 5 years, so go figure.

That's crazy, especially since the Deathadder is known for it's durability! I've had mine for almost three years with no issues so far. Shit happens I guess :/

Well, where did you get yours from? I got mine from their official website, not from amazon or any other website. Maybe that's the reason.

Also did you used Razer Synapse to configure it?

This was years ago, no Synapse stupidity yet, the first problem was actually a HW one and they were dying a lot.

though you are right that deathadders are good mice. they're certainly not the best overall though they're good entry level gaming mice.

Logitech is a good brand, what are you even saying?

personally I prefer a Razer Taipan.

If you are willing to pay little more than choose the BEST:

And if you are willing to pay a little lower for a really good mouse , than coose ,, Logitech MX518 '' !

You just had one faulty model. or you're just too hard on your stuff? take good care of your peripherals. My taipan is nearly a year old. I got it maybe a month after it released and came in the local retail stores and no issues here whatsoever.

I do agree with the mousemats, the goliathus mats are very neat. though I don't like the 2013's design. prefer the 2012 design.

I'm using wired version of Prestigio Racer. I have to say it's actually really good for it's price (it was 15$ when I bought it). But I would say go with something from a4tech. They have cheap and good gaming mouses.

I recently purchased the CM Storm Xornet to replace my old Logitech Optical Gaming Mouse G400.

It's my first real "gaming mouse" and I like it a lot. … (Lightweight, precise, good grip, and three preset dpi settings!)

Paid $23CAN.

your G400 is also a pretty legit gaming mice. Though I've heard good things about the CM peripherals. I would avoid cheap "gaming" mice

I have a pretty big claw too, so I went with the World of Warcraft mice. They are highly programmable, heavy and work quite well with a Ratpadz mouse pad (which are quite slick!)

The original isn't as wide as the Cataclysm one, but either one should work pretty well. If you go to your local electronics store you should be able to look at several popular mice and get a feel for how your hand will rest on them.

NOTE: I bought my mice about 2 years ago. Mice manufacturers are finally coming out with larger mice for today's husky man, so check out some of the recommendations above as well!

I would recommend to get at least a budget of €60-70

I have owned a Razer Abyssus, Deathadder and Taipan and a Roccat Kone XTD (Though all the kones are virtually the same when it comes to shape, it's only different lighting or higher DPI)

I prefer my Taipan and Kone, though the Deathadder is one of the examples of a standard gaming mouse, the logitech G500 is also good and feels good for a palm grip, though the new design is pretty damn ugly.

I've been using the Logitech G1 for quite a long time. Price is about $30 I think. Isn't really created for optimal gaming but is extremely popular where I live.

Logitech G700 Gaming Mouse, it's a Wired/Wireless Hybrid, works wireless, and wired while charging, it has a few side buttons, scroll side buttons. Does a 3 Year warranty also count? Nice! Look for it it's a good mouse :)

If you're playing a lot of FPS shooters, go with a mouse that has a flawless mouse sensor.
