Same day, 32 years later...
Mexico city is overpassed in help, meanwhile southern states still lack of it (Oaxaca, Chiapas, Guerrero).
300 km far from epicenter and still we got a tiny bit of it, in the middle of the country.
people still missing and under debris
139 Deaths until 8:52 PM CDT
64 Morelos
36 Mexico City
29 Puebla
9 Estado de México
1 Guerrero
As sidenote when you watch all the info on twitter on real time you want to cry, on FlightRadar24 I have seen one C130 from army arriving so fast as hell from Tijuana to DFkinda put me happy

Sadly this event will divert attention and help from the poorer regions affected by last week earthquake, very unfair to them.

Yup, kinda amazes me, how fast and differencies between regions, about help and how between people demonstrate their support, in southern states there is still a lack of community.
Here in Queretaro some places could still feel it, softly(and not the first time).

Some places has told they don't need more people now, they have many hands and heavy machinery helping. Better stay at home and keep the roads and streets clear for army and EMS teams, some IT companies had open their lines and internet places to the people. AT&T, TELMEX, etc.

I don't know what to do really, I feel uncomfortable leaving my niece and sister alone togo to help, I know it is selfish but I cannot help it.
We are gathering some water and food to give but i am aware that is not enough

I just read about it, the LA one happened some hours before this one, the thing is, the San Andreas Fault could make a mess there, so I recommend you to make a backpack with money and provisions and be alert just in case.

I was playing a classic RPG (Neverwinter Nights) and suddenly my chair and everything around me started moving up and down.
I hesitated, I knew I had to get the hell out of my apartment fast but I had the impulse of grabbing my PC to try to save it, a second later I just said fuck this shit and took my dog and got out to the parking lot. I didn't even had shoes on.
When the earthquake ended, I was out on the streets walking, It was so bizarre. I saw people running and screaming, I saw an old man and a younger one playing chess on the sidewalk, it felt like a movie.
There are children under the remains of a fallen school near, not much hope there but there are soldiers and people looking for survivors.
This happened in Mexico City.
I hope I don't hesitate again, I have become attached to my PC and today I realized that.
