Everything I buy is region locked?

Well, for the past few weeks I have noticed that everything i bought from the steam store is region locked to India (my home country).
Wanted to know if steam has made some changes in their region lock system?
I bought some games which were on discount thinking of making giveaways here.. But all of them are region locked :-(
Even if I try to buy a game which isn't on a discount it shows me the same message that it can be redeemed only in India.

Any Ideas / suggestions?

EDIT: Will this be same in the next steam sale too?

Turkey is region locked because we usually get prices adjusted to our purchasing power. Maybe it is the same case

Not at all! I can get most games cheaper then their dollar equivalent and still make region restricted gibs

Yeah we can always make region restricted giveaways here. I wanted to make giveaways from everyone.. Guess I'll have to buy from other sites. Or a whole bundle will be good idea i guess.

Yeah ! That's what i'm thinking now.. Maybe I should buy games from sites like Humble bundle, Indiegala etc..
Do they have ROW versions?

India should have been fully region-locked for months now. And yes, you are locked down because you are now the second/third cheapest region after the Russians.

Yes. Most shops deal in ROW keys for ROW prices, but there are a few who have region-specific keys, usually at regional prices.

Also, sometimes the ROW keys sold at stores are actually not fully ROW but "any country that is not region-restricted". In such cases you'll see a warning anyway, but you should know about it.

Yeah, India was region-locked, is region-locked, and will-be region locked. :/ I'm Greek, I'm poor, but I buy ROW games for an expensive price from my store. xD

Yes. India has been region locked since september - october 2015. I suffer :'(
Your options are Humble Bundle and Indiegala, Bundlestars :)
