Thing is. (a lot of) People don't know how to talk, how to have an argument.
They just want to "win" the argument. So if they're talking to you, they sure want you to say "You're right".
And when it doesn't happen, they do the (not so much) adult version of kids throwing themselves at the market's floor and screaming they want the new cereal with extra sugar and toy: bickering and accusing.
