I would only add: Don't have a nemesis. We all are humans and the only people that are happy when we hate each others are politicians.

The more divided we are over nothing, the easier we are to rule and manipulate. We are not so different and even when we are different, we're not enemies. Just different.

So, do you know the lyrics?
Imagine there's no heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today (ah ah ah)
Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion, too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace
You may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one
Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world
You may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one
But I'll play by your broken rules :P
A good thing about organised religion is...
You get time off.

wow, and I thought I just posted on that thread about the simple fact that reversing a single event in history won't change any thing.. =P

Actually Bulgaria was conquered for almost 500 years... the second time. The first time it was for... um, wikipedia-foo 167 years. I don't know if the others need correction since I'm not a historian and school around here only teaches the "local" history. <.<
Anyhow, that's all I wanted to say. Carry on. :)

Think lucky that you're country is independant (does EU count as independant?) England used to rule over many countries, most of which have fought for their own independance. Now only Scotland, Ireland and Wales are left.
Scotland has begun the fight! :D

So looks we were not unique at all (sic)
We are each of us unique, yet also human. The differences between us are so that we might recognize one another. No more, no less.
As for feelings of superiority, that is the greatest folly. Our worth as a person is determined not by what we have, nor by what we achieve. Rather it is determined by the choices we make. Once we accept that fact, we understand that our sense of self is soley within our own hands, and thereby realize our humanity.

I've been around a long time, and I've seen a lot of things, and the conclusion I've reached is that most people aren't malevolent; they're just distracted. Everything is so simple when we're children, and understand the world in black and white; right and wrong. It's because we have a simple understanding of the world, and haven't (most of us) had any real hardship. As we get older, we learn more complexities about the world, and we get tired; we slack a bit; we make concessions. It's such a gradual process that we don't even realize what's happening. Sooner or later, we're at that age where we're working on our careers, taking care of families, and all sorts of other things that consume our time; our lives; the very essence of our being. We're so focused on the day-to-day that getting little Timmy to football practice and Sarah to dance class that it's just going through the motions; we're on auto-pilot. We never think to take that step back and get perspective. That's not to say that it doesn't make us do bad things and treat others poorly, but at our core, most of us are not bad people. And yes, some people are just malevolent jerks, but I've found that by and large, this is the case.

Lately there was some topic abot reversing one event in the world and, of course, some people started hating one religion to other, one country to other etc.
This thing start every time, people jabbering how their life is bad and that's because of some other force, people saying how their country is better than others, how their faith is superior to others or that believing in any god is laughable and they are ignorants, we had people shouting that melas>females, females>males, that there is more than 2 sex and that if somebody don't feel like man or woman is monster or something
You know what? All this is so sad, this shows that we as human beings are pathetic!
Instead of trying to solve some problems or understand why others feel different we are just saying that what we thinks is superior to thoughts and feelings of others.
I have one request, let everybody learn something about one's own nemesis and say something nice about it or learn about what he feels is superior and then find out some weaknes.
Maybe we can see that we are not so different or what we bieleve is not as awesome as we think.
I will not put a single reply in this topic so feel free to write what you want (mainly because I don't want shitstorm but also because I have today last day to make some paperwork today or my own country tax service will send me a real banhammer;)
So have an alll poeple who loves peace and freedom anthem and my few words to thread
We were forced to learn that my nation is unique because after 123 years after partiton of our country we were independent and we were still attending our own culture and language, we had those movement that Poland was martyr of nations because we were always fighting for freedom and freedom of other countries but you know what? I've started to read and to travel and what I've seen? Hungary was conquered for almost 200 years, Bulgaria for 300, Greece for 400 years and they still are independent nowadays, they had independent movements and they still have their own language, culture etc. So looks we were not uniqe at all :)
