Just got Persona 4 The Golden..

Very Easy: this mode is easier than easy. relax and enjoy the story. if your party is wiped in battle, you can instantly retry. We won't be playing that difficulty.

Easy: for those who are less than confident in their skills. the battles are easier than NORMAL mode, so don't get too worked up. Again, no.

Normal: The best balance of difficulty and enjoyment. Please experience the tension. Not good enough, damn it. Not for an SMT game, even if persona 3/4 is a kiddie pool SMT game.

Hard: This is for the confident. battles are more challenging and you'll experience severe gameplay. Perhaps i should be starting here. But, seeing as my friend is about to start Devil Survivor, i feel i want to even the playing field.

Very Hard: Do you hate yourself, or are you supremely self confident? This difficulty requires a strength of heart that never gives in. This. This is where my journey shall begin. A painful, painful journey. But i've bested Persona Portable, Persona 3 on normal, and P4 on hard. I've no fear. Wish my luck, my steam gift compatriots.
