I love potato chips! I love crunching and eating hard potato chips with my teeth.
I have never had “Kettle Cooked”. I don't see them very often in Japan, where I live. If I see them in a store that sells imported goods, I'll try them! In Japan, there are potato chips made in a similar way and I love them.

The old Calbee was good.

People in one country bought so many potato chips as souvenirs that people in that country could no longer afford them, so they temporarily stopped using 100% domestic potatoes and imported potatoes from outside the country to make them.
The taste temporarily became bad, and when the foreigners stopped buying potato chips, they went back to the way they were. If they had been made in Japan, they would have been better: ...... oh, speaking of calbee, the chips here are made in hongokongo... and since "we already have calbee at home", I've never bought calbee in nyapan.... i think.... XD
for snacks becoming less delicious, its mister itou's ＬＡＮＧＵＬＹ biscuits for me.... we used to buy them somewhat regularly, but they changed the manufacturing plant or switched ingredients, feels like the quality took a big hit, and we stopped buying them XD
