heh, there's multiple ways to interpret it but when I see posts like this, it usually is a sly way of begging to hope there's someone nice that just pms them "hey here's the game". This is done deliberately to avoid breaking the rule of actually begging. The poster also isn't trying to actually have a discussion so what is the purpose of the thread?

I think there’s a difference when the community is specifically for giving away the sort of thing noted (i.e. “I want this game” is different from “I want this car” in a game giveaway forum). I take your point, but context heavily supports this post as a hopeful request. OP is free to edit to clarify they’re not actually asking for the game, but they appear new-ish and may not be familiar with all the site rules. If it wasn’t their intent, a single-sentence edit takes care of it, and if it were, they can familiarize themselves with some site rules without a suspension, which I’m sure would be frustrating, particularly to someone saying they’re already having a tough time.
