I just ignore them or block, it's annoying how much phishing bots we have lately, seems their "work" makes profit, and lots of ppl get scammed, that's why they continue doing that.

That's what I thought. I don't ignore invites, maybe someone wants to talk/play to/with me, or trade, so I have to accept invites. But yeah, I block them and remove them after I get the stupid message.

I ignore/block only suspicious or private profiles.

well, I actually ignore invites from random "people", and accept only from people that were considerate enough to live a message as to why they add me (on profile or in forums) - after all, if you have a moment to drop on my profile and hit "send invite" button - you can spend 1 minute and write something there.

report, block, unadd. problem is, some bots are hijacked accounts so you cant ban these...

Be careful about who you add, some people will add you and then steam call you for a split second (you don't even have to answer) then they get your IP and ddos you.

Heard of that but it was long time ago, so thanks for warning me, I'll keep it as priority in my brain now. :D

Yeah, I actually was a bit stupid and believed some bs a guy gave me during a competitive match on CS:GO, ended up being DDoSed cause the bastard wanted to win the match. Thankfully my teammates pulled in a tie but I still got a 30 minute cooldown and deranked :/

CS:GO is so fucked up lately. At least from my experience, either we get into unbalanced match, or there are always some cheaters. Got only few good matches this week. :(

Well, most of my matches are fairly balanced, but the cheaters there are a lot of cheaters/smurfs. It is hard to prevent since people buy the game a lot when it's cheap and make smurfs and whatnot. Also, VAC only bans a long while after cheats are detected so they stay in the game longer.
At least they fix your rank and stuff when a game you played in has a hacker in it and the game becomes void or something.

True, but still, it either gets you nervous, and ruins experience, or you're gonna play bad next match. -.-

Master Guardian, dropped to Gold nova 4 last night, because of 2 matches vs cheaters.

Wow, never realized they were bots. I mean, some may even take some time to write. Sometimes, I even answered them... I feel dumb now.
Say, yesterday was the day for bots : two invits in less than an hour. And not always the same site.

I don't know, some might not be, or it's just some random automated reply based on what people would probably say.

Actually, he ain't missing my "anus". My real name is Anes, and I used to play like that on Steam. I used to play MW3, and you know how ragy people there are, I was in party with people where we were dominating other team, and they(enemy team) called me Anes like Anus. Since then everyone from that party calls me like that. :c

Steam needs "suggest friends" function, so I could introduce those bots to each other.

Don't join weird groups i never get random invites cause most of the groups i'm in are managed by serious people

Oh that's actually quite a good idea. But the issue is, most of the bots adding me have 0 friends in common and 0 groups in common.
