Transistor - supposedly amazing

Ah good, I was wondering when TB would get a video up for it.

I'd love to play the game, if it's even half as good as Bastion it'll easily be one of my favorites. Sadly, I can't be wasting money on anything other than bills right now.

Gamestar titled "we are officially too dumb for games" while IGN applauded a game that insists on players' intelligence. Decide for yourself if you just want to lay back and press X to win or get involved but probably stressed.

I had been listening Bastion soundtracks for like hours / day and I still love it. I'm now listening the Transistor soundtrack on youtube and gosh...ITS AWESOME!!!

Wouldn't even know about Transistor if it wasn't for Fet's giveaway today. It was completely off my radar. Love what I saw in their trailer though.

I wish I didn't have to go to work now, because I'd play it for another set of few hours. Well it's pretty, and it has an interesting story to tell. And on top of that, there's a nice soundtrack and a gameplay that's... uh. I've never seen anything like it, but it's good. I'd recommend it.

I may get it these days, which is a double edged sword.
Finals, and an extended backlog....not a good combination.

Very amazing game indeed. The art (which I believe is hand-drawn?) is incredible, the soundtrack is one of the best I've heard in a game, and the combat is incredibly diverse, enjoyable, and challenging! Haven't encountered any problems. :D

Though I haven't played it yet, my first thought is "I wish it was more like Bastion"... in terms of combat. It seems like overly complicated to me, I'd rather just have my weapons and use them to kill things by pressing X. Not spend time mirco-managing loadouts and queuing up combat actions. I mean, I know you CAN play it that way, but I'm sure the strategy part comes into play. I'd rather focus on enjoying the story/music/environment.

That being said, I very much want to play it.

Only support 1080p 16:9. No proper scaling implemented.
This is simply unacceptable in 2014. (I have 16:10 display)

Not to mention that forum is full of other issues.

Also no demo, make easy to wait for eventual bundle :)

Guess this will be an easy pick for those who were in love with Bastion, and an equally easy skip for the unimpressed.

I bought it day one just because of how much I loved Bastion. I want Supergiant games to keep making art just like they do.

Of course it's amazing! Bastion was nothing short of a masterpiece, and now we get another game done by the same team who made Bastion. I can't wait to get it.

If its really only 5 hours I don't think its worth it. I would have gladly purchased it if it were the same price as bastion.

It does seem good and the OST is great so looking forward for it :)

2 hours in yesterday. Loved it for all I played.
I totally love the combat mechanics, music and art style.
My only problem is that it really make the GPU heat up and blow air at full power.

I somewhat wish the pseudo-narrating done by the Transistor (or rather the guy inside) would be more flowing. Right now it seems like a sequence of sentences said after reaching points on the map or events, with a somewhat broken rythm.

I'm not playing it yet, but I'm certainly curious about it. Plan on getting it eventually. Maybe when it's -75% off.
