Her hair looks and reacts a bit weird and it's a tad distracting. The whip appears quite flimsy and I hope it can be upgraded to a more powerful version. But for a pre-alpha stage it seems promising. Looking forward for the final version.

Well it is pre-alpha, I'm guessing they just focused on making the game pretty so far. They will probably make the combat better, the game comes out next year anyway so they have time.

What strikes me is that in this Pre-Alpha gameplay the whip feels less effective and less real than in Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones, which is a pretty old game

She's supposed to be a Mage, I don't know how that's going to translate for a hack&slash o_O Maybe she gets other weapons later on like Death's Scythes & War's Sword? The urban/earth setting does look more interesting.

A few days ago we discussed the announcement of this new videogame, and I think many of us are excited about it (I know I am).

I think that the setting looks really nice, and somewhat reminiscent of the first game. As usual with this series, the aesthetics are very appealing.
Imho, the combat needs a lot more variety, that whip action seems something that's gonna get boring fast if they don't improve it.
