Who says we don't make public giveaways as well? Anyway, the point of a gifting group is this: it increases the likelihood and frequency of winning gifts while also ensuring that the games aren't won by people who never gift themselves.

Contact an administrator, accept the invitation, and create a giveaway.

It's somewhat true (unless you're gifting Fortix and want to win Skyrim, which is often the case), but it's not always a matter of being able to afford something. I could have used the money I spent on gifts this year to buy a couple of games I'm entering for here on Steam Gifts, but that would have lost the cool "winning stuff" feeling of both the people who won my games and my own potential wins.

Really? I'm looking right here and you were a racist.

Yes, you a looking right there, but you are not here, in Russia. You see, I will probably never believe, that there are no more samurais (even that I know that their order was cleaned off back in the days) and I will believe, that everyone eats sushi every day. Balalayka and bears on the streets? Never heard of it. ;) So, we all are international novadays, but there's still a place for cultural difference. And mods were informed of what did I wanted to say, so that case is closed. You can remember, spread it or whatever, but I'm clean this time, so I'm not going to discuss it anymore.

Contact the admins and make a giveaway for the group

S-Gifters has never banned anyone for not chatting, as far as I know. Are you sure you're not thinking of some other group?

implying we don't know L.A. Noire is $5 in Rusland when it's 75% off, and with using a 50% coupon just $2.50

Thanks for revealing that the owners of the group are cheap asses and are just leeching on the more expensive giveaways their members are making.

Yeah, i like how most of your group owners always say that you WILL be giving away an expensive game.

I only see 3 games on your profile.
Two 10 point games and one for 3 points.
Another admin from your group only gave away indie bundles, and the last admin, well i don't think he/she even has a steamgifts account.

Wow, you are so great in investigation. Didn't you thought, you can't see group giveaways until you are in group? You can believe whatever you want, http://www.steamgifts.com/giveaway/VWG11/king-arthur-collection - you won't see it, but you can't deny it's there (King Arthur Collection was not on site even, I had to ask mods to add it). Again, L.A.Noire is in my inventory. PooTez's Medal of Honor is an indie game, of course. Snake got an acc. Look, if you believe, that everyone will giveaway only HL2 or something similar, then it's not my problem. But I want to tell you once again - gain some proofs, not just your thoughts. I got proofs.

A lot of people considered the monthly forced gifting requirement on S-Gifters too much but I am glad to say that, after numerous people lobbying against the rule, it no longer exists. New members are still required to make a single giveaway upon gaining membership but it can be for any amount. I believe that this will result in an increase of the quality of giveaways (at the expense of quantity).
In addition, a special S-Gifters Gold exists open only to S-Gifters members who create quality giveaways on a monthly basis. This serves as an added incentive to gift quality games.
Finally, the membership limit has been increased from 150 to 200 members.
P.S. I know that there are people who will probably continue to hate this group despite these positive changes and also despite the fact that the original creator (who chose the name "S-Gifters" and also refused to make giveaways of his own) was forced out of the group long ago. This is unfortunate as current administrators and members have nothing to do with any of that.
