I guess he'll recive Max Payne 2, there should be an Option for switch languages. If you want to make it for sure, let him activate the Game using a US VPN (I know that'll works, I've done bevor, especially with cutted Games, I'm from Germany ;) )

BAD ADVICE.
NEVER use a VPN to activate ANY keys or so. You can risk an account ban on Steam. And they don't only ban you immediately, they sometimes hand out delayed bans, too.

Anybody know if Max Payne 2 has any kind of region lock on it? I have a Steam key of the game from the Amazon US digital download store, and I wanted to give it to someone in Italy. I found out that the Italian Steam store only sells an Italian language version of the game -- no idea why or what's different, other than the language. What would happen if this person in Italy activates the key? Would it activate as the US/ROW version, the Italian language version, not activate at all, or activate and refuse to install (wasting the key)? Thanks in advance for any help!
