(free)pirates of black cove gold

The last time this game was given away for free, there were many giveaways for the Steam game (PoBC) using the non-Steam version (PoBCGE), almost all of which turned out to be deleted and/or "not received."

Just so everyone is aware the developers never generated keys for version that's currently on Steam. The only way to get that version is buying it on Steam.

If I understand correctly, however, this game (maybe not these keys being given away now) still works via steam & shows up in my library, it just will not a) show up on steam searches or b) remove "Pirates of Black Cove" from wishlists.

At any rate, i was recently (last week) given a key for it that meets the conditions i mentioned above.

Yes that's correct, the Gold version will show up in your library.

From the couple of hours I've played of it a few years back, it's kind of a budget Sid Meier's Pirates or something along those lines. Certainly a playable game.
