How long do i wait before marking as gift not received?

So, I won a gift 4 days ago to which I haven't received and I'm not too sure as to when i should mark it as such. Isn't there a requirement that if i don't activate a gift within 7 days then I'm suspended or something? So should i mark beforehand?

Patience. You have to wait seven days before you can mark it not received.

have you checked your email? have you checked your spam box? have you checked the won page again for the key? have you tried to contact the giveaway creator? did the giveaway creator added you on steam and you blocked him?
