Great ideas guys:) Unfortunately even though my ratio (in real CV) is like 3/1, more than you're require 2/1, I am still only level 4. Working very hard to make it to level 5 though, so maybe will come back when I do make it cause I love bundled games as I buy a lot, but there's always some that I miss too and those I usually try to win here on SG. So anyway here's a bump for your great idea!

I'd like to apply! I think I meet all the requirements; my ratio is pretty good (4:1 in real CV, I don't want to talk about it T_T) and I'm level 6, so I think I should be fine! I'm active on the forums, and I think the majority of my giveaways are public or forum public, so unless I'm missing something, I think I qualify. I also don't think I've ever been banned.

Yeah, that's true. It counts for both aka any kinds of comments.
And sure, in your situation (only been here for 4 weeks) is a bit hardcore to be able to reach that amount of comments. But that's no reason to lash out on dkny & the group. There are plenty of groups you can enter or/and qualify for. :)
Being active on the forum is just a big plus. :) Most of us recognize each other because we are active on the forum. That's what makes us a part of a community. Sooner or later (if you contribute with comments, that is) you will see it grow fast.
But props for you to already be lvl 5 in 4 weeks! That's nice to see :D

You can check them by go to http://www.sgtools.info and check your real cv, it also show you what type of give away you sent out ( aka public or group or private).

This sounds like a great thing! I'm interested... I'll have to check my public contributions, since I don't know if this counts giveaways with multiple copies, which is what I do a good bit of in public giveaways. Can't find the pie chart thing I checked it with before, but it's probably fairly close, since I am in a lot of bundle groups and such. If I don't have enough public giveaways, do you know if it counts volume as volume, or do I need to do single giveaways to make up the difference? I can put up enough public giveaways to hit my number today, or whenever I am declined based on percentage, if in fact I have my numbers correct (need 153.6 Public GA)

That's cool - it won't get any higher in proportion to what I am winning - it will probably continue to go the opposite way, since I have been winning far more than contributing the longer I go and the more groups I get into. I'm almost 50/50 now in amount, and I was about 9x higher in sent giveaways before I started to join groups, and get into some higher level giveaway groups. I can't work since I'm disabled, so there won't be any easy way to fix that any time soon until either a) I get well enough to work again, or the far more likely, yet equally difficult and unlikely - b) I get more money from the government for my multiple conditions. Just costs too much already for my medical needs, unfortunately, so that takes priority most of the time.
I would have met all the requirements a few months back though. Also some game values have decreased, lowering my CV value over time too. All the good I did in the past has been coming back to me though - far too fast to keep up with. I am happy with where I am at.

Man, this breaks my heart... Maintaining this ratio is part of the group rules, not just entry requirements and I definitely don't want to add any pressure on you so you would waste money on gifts. You give a lot already.
I slowly started leaving some groups because temptation to enter GAs is just too high for me. I will still stay in a few that I like the most but will try not to enter too many giveaways. I don't really have much time to play anyway and even though it makes me happy when I win, I cannot help but think that I've taken someone else's opportunity away.
There are several people here that I actually consider close friends and not just people to joke around with and I will not be able to invite them since they don't meet entry requirements. This is what we agreed on. Same goes to Rachel and she has more friends than me. I honestly don't want to upset anyone but it is inevitable.

No worries. I am glad you have a stringent set of rules lined up to make sure you get the right kind of people in your group. The problem with moving into higher levels is: there are more groups available above certain levels, and the public giveaways at higher levels have less people who can enter, so you will probably end up with more lower level people who haven't gotten the opportunity to snag up a lot, or people not in many groups. Many bundled/semi-valuable games haven't been included in my sent list as well, because I didn't get 5 entries, so they didn't qualify in my giveaways total contributions, to my knowledge. I honestly thought it was just to enter, but if you have to maintain, that's a little too stressful for me to worry with - keeping track of numbers constantly.
Just in one group alone I've gotten over 100 wins in the past 4 or 5 months, so that's how it goes... I had contributed enough to the groups to easily snag a bunch of bundle games. The groups I am in have too good of odds, and some tend to have more pricier games that can be won, so unfortunately I don't think my ratio will balance out at a 1:2 ever, unless the previous things happen I mentioned. I like collecting games, but I have given a decent bit more, so I am happy with where I am. It's okay that I don't meet the requirements - I just got mixed up on the CV part, else I wouldn't have mentioned any interest (though I still have some). Maybe once I've won most of the giveaways that pop up, I can enter, as I will continue to be giving away I am sure. Won't be for a looong time though, I have a feeling. I win a lot of games each week, and never go more than maybe two days without winning something. I like collecting as much as playing, so that is my problem! I am a little more of an "addict" than you all are ^_^ My ratio is bound to get me booted out of some of the other groups at some point too - but I'll be contributing 'til the end. Still after SSI - I'll have about 4 - 5x more if my case gets won (I have about 9 conditions, and only need 1 to legally qualify me). Got another few tricks up my sleeve too for even more, since I was disabled before the age of 18.

Not blabbing, I enjoy our conversation :) Short answer because it's late and I cannot think straight. Basically here is the idea behind this group:
1) W:S ratio instead off overall contribution because we don't want to say no to people who love giving and don't get much in return but just cannot afford giving more. LVL5 requires $250+ in cv so it's a pretty significant amount.
2) We won't be strictly enforcing 1:2 ratio rule within the group but we ask everyone who joined to maintain this ratio. We are yet to work out all the details and exact numbers but we will have to ask a person to leave the group if their ratio goes significantly lower from that initial 1:2. And this is not because they are not worth any more. The way I see it if someone's ratio gets closer to 1:1 this person is being rewarded for his/her generosity. In that case we would rather give the rest of the members that are either not as lucky or just way too generous higher chance of winning.
3) CV system is not perfect and it doesn't accurately reflect how much money someone spent on gifts but this is what we have to go with until better system is introduced.
4) I LOVE collecting games and most importantly I love playing them. There are not that many games that I don't want to play. I even play shittiest of games with negative reviews, not just for cards. I also do indeed have hoarding tendencies when it comes to digital stuff. It's not easy at all for me to restrain myself =\ Luckily I am comfortable enough financially (I am not rich and have loans to pay and family obligations) to be able to buy few bundles a week for myself and for giveaways. Some people here do way more than that. I am not sure what their motivation is (and financial status too) but the fact that they do this definitely puts a smile on my face.

Coolness... Well, I am glad you are getting some members - I'm pretty happy and set right now, and winning regularly. Sad that I cannot be a part of it as it moves forward, but maybe at some point I can help out in some way. Let me know if the rules ever change, and you just want somebody else in who will regularly contribute. Until then, I wish you luck on what you're starting. Sounds like things will be okay, and you can adapt to the changes as they happen. I'm fairly active, and you know where to find me. I still believe my situation will improve for the better. Don't worry much about me - I am who I am for a reason, and I have fought my illness for many years now (well about 2 decades), so if it hasn't taken me out by now, I must be too powerful for it to do anything more. I beat a birth injury that was life-threatening, I beat alcoholism, which nearly took me out a few times, and I'm going to beat my illnesses too. I'm going to fight to get what I can financially as well - got a lot to go on, but it takes a few tries with this stuff. We shall see in the future...

Is this something that you also will be watching continuously in the future? Also I hear that there's some difficulties concerning the invite only giveaways. That it's difficult to see if they are forum invite only giveaways or if they are very small private invite only giveaways. I'm asking this because I don't know how to see the difference as to date I haven't made any invite only giveaways.

Yes, from time to time. Not every day. It's ok if this number fluctuates. The idea is to continue giving games to people that are not part of any groups.

There is no way to tell so we are mostly looking at public GAs count and if person is active on forum. If person creates posts (trains, puzzles, etc) regularly it is a pretty safe bet that most of their private GAs were done on forum.

Bundle Addicts Anonymous (BAA)
Rachellove, KTS and I decided to create a small group for people who are as addicted to bundles, deals, gifting games, making friends, and the SG community as much as we are.
What is BAA?
This is not a ratio-based giveaway group, nor do we focus solely on giving away games. Initially, when we formed this group, we aimed to unite kind-hearted, generous SG members to share giveaways with. However, it has since grown into a friendly gathering of users who feel comfortable chatting, playing games, and sharing thoughts and opinions openly with each other.
Over time, we have adjusted our old rules to accommodate the needs of the group and to incorporate the helpful suggestions of our members.
We strive to build a tight-knit community of people who give much more than they take or receive, enjoy talking to other members, and love the SteamGifts community in general. Most importantly, we expect all members to be active within our group.
Why BAA?
This is, in essence, a smaller community within the greater SG community comprised of individuals with a variety of unique personalities and backgrounds – so all introverts and extroverts are welcome!
We take all of our members very seriously and expect them to follow all rules, including maintaining a real CV ratio and respecting all members of the group.
However, we are also a fun-loving group of people who realize that SG and friendships are more than giving away games – it’s about finding people to connect with, play games with, talk to, and forge lasting relationships with.
