heard there are plenty, but im not sure of which is safe and which isnt... and which dont cause me to lose that much from the 60 Euros.

i guess it would be easier if i were to have "fake" +rep (thats how i like to call the +rep made from paying people with csgo cases or shit items to +rep on your profile)... i have a pretty high level on steam tho...

Yeah just so you know, no legit trader who would offer such a service (not that I know anybody who'd actually do this) looks at profile rep. You'll find 99% of traders here at least don't look at profile rep at all, since we all know it's bs.

i did this many times before, but no one here is actually buying expensive games... everyone either plays only the f2p ones, either pirates them... :-/

Just look at the Trades section above, plenty of people buying keys with PayPal or bitcoin. Of course they cost much more on market than people are paying for them, but that's one of the easiest ways. To get more value out gets harder and harder.

what about the revoke of payment? people love to refund the payments on paypal...

not going for bitcoin... the banks out here would laugh in my face if they were to hear about it... the policies with "internet money" are also very strict in my country...and even saw i'd probably lose a lot because of the fees...
i'll just try to find someone around me that is willing to let me buy the game for him and then pay me...
thx for the advice tho :)

Your bank doesn't have any say in it. If you're in SEPA area, you can sell the bitcoins on many exchanges and get the money transferred into your bank account. There are small fees but much less than the earlier loss with CS:GO keys. But yeah, finding friends who want to buy games is safest way.

Just do what you can to get peoples trust so they'll pay before you give stuff. Tell them they can record the entire conversation and transaction to use as evidence if you scam them, be sure to use a good steam account when doing transactions too, so they get the feeling you have something to lose if you scam them. You'll still have people who won't take the risk, but lots of people will feel more at ease when they see you're helping them. I've not personally sold stuff from steam, but I used too with mmo's, made hundreds of dollars worth of transactions. Still, there will be people who won't take the risk, so you just have to be patient.

what mmos are you talking about :> ? because i would love to be able to get money out of playing... besides what im doing... or at least what i had been doing on tf2,dota2,csgo...

You wouldn't be able to do what I did, it was older f2p mmo's, and/or private servers for some. The developers for the games got greedy overtime and the games became completely pay 2 win, making it impossible to grind good loot to sell. Some of them went out of business completely too.

a guy once told me there is a tricky way to make some money outta csgo weapons... like the ones with different patterns (i.oobse. Case Hardened)... searching for noobs that sell nice pattern versions of the skin for less, and sell them for a higher price... but there's the 12% steam takes... and no one would pay , just so, a random guy from internet for a skin... especially when they can refund on paypal or simply ask you to pay first and scam you... god damn it. :-/
I guess i'll just wait for x-mas sales and buy smth or idk

Other than what is mentioned.
You could sell your wallet money to someone you trust through in-game items in the market.
So, say you had a friend who would buy the 60 euro from you. Your friend could list an in-game item for 60 euro and you buy it, which would transfer your wallet funds to their account.
Then your friend uses PayPal, cash or whatever other means to give you the 60 euro.

i dont think that works anymore.. the purchaser of the item will purchase the cheapest available even if you are willing to pay the matched exact amount. so unless the buyer plans on buying every item all the way up until yours, its a fail option ;)
(this used to be a valid option though till some market changes)

idk, i suppose they may of altered it again, i never seen the direct buy buttons next to people before (been a while since i actually looked). last i remember they only had the "place your order" button and tell steam what you were willing to buy it for.. if you say $2.50 and someone had it listed for $0.04, you still end up only paying the 4cents instead of $2.50.. but that direct buy buttons makes me think its not like that anymore.

I know if I am buying cards, emoticons, etc.
You cannot select the person you want to buy from. It is random like you stated.
I think the quick buy directly only works with a few in-game items and I really don't know why some in-game items have quick buy and others work like trading cards do.
I'm sure there is some rationale behind it.

this could work only if people from my country wouldnt be poor (like me) and they were to buy anything from steam... I'll most certainly spread a few words about offering myself to buy a certain game and eventually give them a discount or anything... idk... its complicated damn.

forgot to mention i dont have that many friends :o

Well, I see that you have rep on the site, so you've obviously traded with others.
Are there any past traders that you would be willing to trust enough?
You don't have to do the full 60 euro in one shot.
You could find 6 people that want 10 euro and so on.

mhm... not sure it'll work just like a charm... i mean... put it this way... would u rather buy a game yourself with your own money anytime u want , rather than giving the money to someone , through paypal (most of the people go directly with the bank account or Paysafecards i think... at least thats what i'd do... because of the fees from paypal)
Comment has been collapsed.
If you have them purchase a cheap in-game item from you like this for, say, 20 euro.
Then, they have wallet funds to buy whatever games they want, when they want.
The person who would agree to this would of course have to accept the fees associated with payment to you, if there are any.

so its against ToS to trade ( cough sell cough ) certain items from steam, on steam?
Comment has been collapsed.
Easiest way is probably converting your 60€ to 24 cs:go keys, and then selling them for real money.
Traders on this site goes for approximately 1.7€ the cs:go keys, which means you will obtain 40€ paypal from the initial 60€.
Or if you are ok with amazon gift cards, cs:go keys usually go for 2€ there, which means you will obtain 48€ amazon gift cards from the initial 60€.
All of these are suboptimal (because you are overpaying for cs:go keys when buying them, and then underselling them. Buying games on steam and trading for them will definitely net you more than 24 cs:go keys for example), but this will give you an idea of what you can get easily.

you can buy cs go keys or skins and use a site called opskins to sell
ofcourse it will take time to sell, then until you can withdraw and you will lose some (10% opskins take and also some to transfer to paypal and like 2 euros to transfer to bank account)
and also if you want to sell quickly you have to quicksell it (lower than average price)
this will not be big maybe 65% you get from it but it is 100% legit and safest way to do
i mean quickselling keys to traders also are like cheap price, + add the risks of scams and revoke payments so yeah

mhm... i'll look it up... this opskins thing...
thx :)

Hello. I've been trading, selling and saving money in the couple 3 months and the fact that i started the college kinda cuts off any mood when it comes to buying new games or even play games anymore... so i'd rather try to find a way to withdraw them from steam wallet somehow and use them in real life where i need them the most.
Any "SAFE" ways to do so? :)
Got around 60 euros on steam(im saving for a laptop, any cent counts... especially in a eastern european country :D... you know cuz of the bad economy and stuff. Currently writting from a 10 yrs old laptop that is about to explode because of the overheat.)
EDIT: Thank you everyone for all the info. I'll probably just try convince some friends to let me buy them the games they want and i might aswell give certain websites for selling keys a go...
