What do you think
No, it's casual.
random silver vs global elite
negev vs sawed-off
awp, awp everywhere
bomb planted in A, terrorist camping B because reasons™
literally casual.

Then I will say that casual can be way more competitive Play Quake 3 Arena or Unreal Tournament for reasoning! :D

I say competitive is harder. In casual you already have more money and free armor among other things. You also have more people that could potentially help you take over/defend/rescue or whatever.
The other problem with casual, even though I think it's easier, there are a lot of people that go in and mess around so it could be harder for you without that extra player. Again, since there are more people, if your team isn't decent you're more than likely to get bombarded from all sides. But that goes for competitive as well. it's just the bombardments may be smaller and you're more likely to have an idea of it when there are less players, but it's just as hard I'd say because the enemies are probably less damaged.

I would say playing casual is just a different style of gameplay. You sometimes get good and sometimes bad opponents, but if you want to be on top of the leaderboard you just need to run and gun (with some aim, recoil and map knowledge), while in competitive that kind of playing won't get you very far because better opponents will know how to shut you down. On the other hand playing patiently and relying on your teammates in casual will get you killed because you will only get flanked from behind or get killed by 5 players running in with p90s while the rest of the team is on the other bombsite and left half of the map to the other team.

Most casual servers are plagued with trolls and hackers, but there are some casual servers with a high level of play where if you're not organized and communicating like competitive and just randomly running around you will lose every round quickly. So I'd say competitive is harder because most people are actually trying to win as opposed to trolls ghosting or team flashing you in hopes of getting you to rage.

The reason backing up my claim is that in competitive, you get matched up against players who have a similar skill level to yours. However, in casual you could be a silver one facing gm's. What do you guys think?
