You've reached the $30 limit for bundle games. Give away some non-bundle games, and you'll find the value increases.

Yes, that's TRUE. You didn't pay even 30$ for these games and here you go - 30$ on profile. I hope you are glad to see that, but you think it's unfair and that's why you created this topic, to lower it, right?

Yes,I think it's unfair. But I think this because it should be written somewhere when you make a giveaway. That's all. I didn't see it in any place. I don't see it in the forum cause it is not in the faq. Even in the post SniperBNAtm have placed I don't see a line in which says "You will not receive any value for games that are in a bundle".

You say I didn't pay 30$, but you don't know what I paid. True thing is I paid more than average an maybe it's more than those 30$. I bought another indie bundle X for gifting but I think I better give it to some friend.

PD: I hope you are glad to know you are brain retarded and I don't want to gift anything to people like you.

You can't find that anywhere, because it doesn't say so anywhere. And yes, you could have paid a 100 bucks for your indie bundles each. But considering that most people pay a minimum for the bundle, or just above the average, the reason for the limit as exactly that. I could pay 6 bucks for a bundle and get 50+ USD worth of contribution value, which makes the whole contributor system obsolete.

Anyways, if a game is on a bundle list, and you give it away, you can have a max contributor value from bundle games of 30 bucks + 25% or 20%, can't remember, of any "real" value you've given away for. Ie, games NOT on the bundle list. Understand?

If you gift the bundle by itself, and not the individual games from it, you get full value for it.

Even if they did make a warning, nobody would really read it. If people don't even use the search function or just simply "eyeball" other threads seeing if someone has the same problem as you :|

You paid more? No, ppl with behavior like yours always pay the least.
ALL games you gave away are from ONE bundle. You paid more than 30$ for it? Suuuuuuure. I think you are just greedy liar and you just landed on my blacklist.

Another proof of your retardation. You don't know anything about people... and bundles are for charity, at least for me. I close this.

Here's the formula and an example if someone gave away 3x The Ship ($19.99, Bundle game)

Value.Contributor= Value.NonBundle + MIN( Value.Bundle, 25) + MIN( Value.Bundle -25, ( Value.NonBundle + MIN( Value.Bundle, 25) ) * 0.2 );

= 0 + MIN(3 19.99, 25) + MIN( 3 19.99 -25, MIN(3 19.99, 25) 0.2 )
= 0 + 25 + MIN( 59.97 -25, 25 * 0.2 )
= 25 + MIN ( 34.97, 5 )
= 30

Ty. That's info not like others write.

Do you know if I give the full bundle instead of games separetely I will receive value?

You will not get contributor value for the games in the bundle. However, I do believe you will get contributor value equal to what the average is on the bundle. Ie, I gave away indie gala 10, I got about 6 bucks of contributor value I believe. Not 30 or 40 or 50 or whatever the games might actually be worth, purchased seperately.

The above and below average bundles have separate prices for each bundle. It's around $10, you won't fish any free contrib credit out of it. Just do what I did and spam this.

IF YOU CAN AFFORD IT GO GET IT

https://www.humblebundle.com/

I only needed Splice.

[Man everyone is gonna be like YOU ONLY GIVE AWAY BUNDLE GAMES AND THE SHIP.]

edit: for clarification I gave BS2 and will give bundle games, just happen to have picked up these bundles for only one game and they came with separate keys, so free games for you guys instead of me searching my friends list for people who give a shit.

You will get the "full" value of the bundle price and it will not be handled as a "bundle game" but as a "NonBundle" in the above formula.
You will still not the the full value (Steam store value) of the individual games in that bundle.

So if in the above example, someone gave away Indie Gala X BTA (afaik it's considered 6USD) and 3x The Ship, the formula would be

= 6 + MIN(3 19.99, 25) + MIN( 3 19.99 -25, 6 + MIN(3 19.99, 25) 0.2 )

Watch out for the Asterisk beside the game's name - it indicates the game is seen as a bundled game and you will not get full credit for it beyond the formula explained further up. I did not know either and hope one day this information ends up on the "create giveaway" page as it causes confusion again and again letting people create topics like this which many people consider useless.

Please close this topic as soon as you received enough information.
