yeah, that promo was off and on, but only mere moments at a time before it was out of keys.. though i have no idea to what extent it was given out though. (if it was only a few dozen, i see no need in it staying on the "free" list, but if it was thousands of them just going really fast then it may need to stick).
edit: and yes, the keys also will expire if that's what you meant instead.

Yes, I meant the expiration. If free keys can't be used anymore because they expired, there is no need to keep a game's giveaway ban alive. I'm not sure though, as people made differing statements.

well, i'd give it an extra couple weeks in the "ban" list though so that those that still have them have a chance to realize they expired. otherwise they'd still try a GA without knowing (those that genuinely bought the g2a bundle i mean mostly, with a cple of those trying to abuse the free copies).. but yes, i agree.

Not exactly banned, but yes... you won't be able to create the GA's because of it having been distributed for free last week (thus triggering the respective rule here on SG).
At least one site received the leftover keys from the recent sale, and distributed them in exchange for joining some groups (standard Gleam procedure). Those free distributions lasted for only a few minutes at a time, after publicized. As FlorTW said, it's unfortunate for everyone who still wanted chance at winning it, but alas, it probably won't be included in the SG list again soon.
Note that according to the initial sale, there was a time limit for the keys. Some threads indicate that for now they still work, but there's no telling until when.

I've seen people who made GAs for games from the g2a first bundle said the keys must be activated till , I believe, April 10th?

Yes, had to look up the specific date, you're exactly right. The original sale page had a note saying "You have to receive and activate those keys before 10th of April 2017. After this date, the keys will be deactivated". Still 6 days to go, in the least.
