yes, already added a warning to my trades. it didn't help. this person did not bother reading or following the links to confirm they were trading with the same person. either that or this person and the scammer are one in the same. it could be some kind of elaborate scam, like that.

I have the highest rep on steamtrades and I've never been impersonated so it works.
And cause everyone really likes keeping their anime wifu as profile pic and are willing to risk their online reputation in the name of true love.

hi, i have a very small trading account (~50 rep) and got an impersonator last week who is scamming people and getting me into trouble.
my steam account is set to private and i heard some people make theirs public for trading but i do not see how that would help if this scammer is just preying on people who lack the experience to follow the links through steamtrades and confirm the identity of who they trade with.
need advice on what else i could do here. thanks.
