What critically acclaimed games have you've just forgotten to play?

I'm not sure what made me think about this, but earlier I realized that I've never played Half-Life 1. It just fell by the wayside all this time and not once did my brain even consider the fact that I hadn't played it. Not even when I first played Half-Life two, or all the times since then...

So, are there any hugely popular games that you've just kind of forgotten to play?

borderlands and bioshock. It's not that i haven't played, i just played around 50 minutes of each and got insanely bored.

Well let's see... the entire Half-Life and Bioshock franchise, Civ V, Thief, Deus Ex (I just haven't found the time to play the few critically acclaimed ones I actually one :/)

Assassin's creed. The first one bored me very fast so I didn't even give the others a chance although I own most of them.

I played 1 and 2. I enjoyed both but just lost interest and haven't played Brotherhood, Revelations, or 3. I'd play them if I won them, but I have no desire to spend the money on them.

First one is shit. In the first hour you see everything you need to see, and from there is just repetition. But AC2 and Brotherhood are extraordinary games, give them a chance. ;)

I barely enforced myself to finish it, was bored like fuck. Every single "preparation" before assassination is the same, exactly the same.

Arkham City, Mass Effect 1+2.

I'd probably play Arkham City if I wasn't so bad at Kb+M controls on fighting games and if my shitty gamepad didn't disconnect every 10 seconds.

From the recent one it is Assassin's Creed series, the first one is unbelievably boring and repetitive after first few missions. I will probably read the plot on wiki and start playing from the second one.

Fallout series, Kingdom Hearts series, and until recently, Assassins Creed series, which I'm currently working on AC2 at the moment. It's not a matter of forgetting, it's just that I haven't had the time or money to play all of the good games.

You'll need an emulator or dosbox for the oldest ones, and would probably need to be a masochist as well. Hope you like drawing maps! :)

I've never touched the Half-life series, the Assassin's Creed series, Jak & Daxter series, Devil May Cry series, Hitman series, ANY Tom Clancy games and there are even more that I need to catch up on because I only played 1 game in the series about a decade ago

I tried skyrim... Killed a chicken in the town and then all the townsfolk killed me... I didnt even mean to kill the chicken... my mouse just clicked and boom :(
