Hi, I can understand that you feel bad about it.
I did mention you in one of the carts to try and save you your spot. But people don't always read.
2900 was taken and people also took other carts after that even if they knew GGP had reserved them.
But I think not everyone has a lot of time. It's the last few hours that you can add carts. So people want to add their giveaways fast.
It's not fun, and people should not insult of belittle anyone. I do hope you feel better soon. And please remember that you are gifting games to others, you can do with them what you want. If you feel better making a separate cart or adding them somewhere else, that is your right.

Ppl are insulting me now too here, several people have been insulting me actually, both here & on Steam. I can't take this rude behavior especially after Fidler stated that there is no Insulting/harassing/ being rude to others I do not have time for this kinfa behavior after being awake all night trying to create these sick, tired & sleepy. 😢🤒😫😪😵

I agree that her reaction was a bit harsh, but I don't think that she especially meant to insult you.
And sorry that you couldn't add the carts you wanted.
As a general tip, it's a good practice to create carts in advance for this kind of events, because the train can move crazy fast at times, especially towards the end.

Sit back for a minute and take a deep breath. You are not feeling well, you are tired, and you are stressed out. It is all but impossible to think clearly in such a situation. You do not have to number your carts before posting them. You do not have to post them at a specific place in the train. You do not have to post them at all, which seems to be how you are feeling at this time. People are trying to be helpful, but too many of us are panicking.
If you want to add carts to the train, see my suggestions, below. If participating seems like more trouble than it is worth, that is fine, too. Just remember that your health is more important than meeting an unimportant deadline.

You are probably right.
Not sure if claiming a certain number is necessarily bad, but with a train of this proportion you can't expect either that everybody knows about your reservation and respects it.
I kind of reserved cart 2500 as an initiative to push it at least to that number, but I would have been ok even if it was claimed by someone else.
It is also a bit stressful for the claimer too, since I was constantly monitoring the train's progress so I don't block the train and make other people wait after my giveaway.

Everyone needs to calm down. If you want to add carts, add carts. If you can arrange with other people to do a specific cart number, fine. If not, do not sweat it. To make life easier for yourself, do the following:
- Create your carts together beforehand.
- Create your "Next" comment, along with a link to your first cart, so that you can copy-paste it.
- Go to the last current cart of the train and check to see if someone has already done a "Next." If not, paste your comment.
Once you have added your section of the train, you may go back and edit your giveaway descriptions to add in the correct numbers. You can also add a single cart and then link sub-carts to that one cart. Look to simplify things, not complicate them.

When you accept someone's friend request, i recommend messaging them, so they know you accepted it - because steam doesnt always give a notification. I was going to ask how far you were, because the train was picking up steam on it's own and many users seem to just attach so it without reading the comments here.
That aside we just claimed 2900-3000 until we knew we couldn't fit those last 40, because it was simply efficient to do a big batch in 1 run. So we stopped at 2940, i was constantly updating the post(s). It'm sorry you're upset about it, but sorry,. nobody really to blame for it. I recommend hooking up to the epic 3000, as 3001 should still be up and available !

The OG behind this event is Xarlor who came up with the first community train .
it was done again by UserCar007 with some changes that i have decided to keep. which were disallowing DLCs and adding a game value requirement .The Third one was done by me .And I was greatly helped by Canis and icaio.There was a 4th one byDragoZeroNova. 5th was again done by yours truly with the help of Canis and icaio.
well then , i havent thought of something smart , funny , or anything really to say so lets just jump right into this starting with the rules.
do not delete your GA comments after making them. this is to allow people on your blacklist to give you the link to the next GA even though they cant join your GA.
DO NOT HARASS/INSULT PEOPLE ON THE TRAIN FOR ANY REASON!
Must Start on September 1(your time) on the earliest
Must end sometime on September 28 (again , your time)
No region restrictions
Set to "Invite Only"
Game value 5P or more
No DLCs
Set Contributor Level no higher than 4
Post URL in the comments of the last cart in the train.
If there is already a link for another cart in the comments of the last cart, wait until a new cart is added.
Number your cart in the description.
In case of games that haven't been released yet and games that were just added to the SteamGifts database. they will have a 0P cost until release or the Database catches up. so the rule for those is that as long as their cost wont be 5P once that happens , then the game is good. it is easy to figure out what the price range is going to be by simply look at the store page.
No Games that are currently being given away for free (that means at the time you make your GA)
just delete and remake if you make a giveaway public on accident (Mods cant change it to invite only)
you can always make a ticket asking for more GA slots if you need those. mods are normally happy to do that. (not the reading your ticket part)
Check your GA comments regularly until you get a link for the next cart. You are responsible for adding the NEXT link in your GA description to keep the train
growing.
