The same happened with me, but as I live in Hungary I got charged 1 Ft instead of 1 EUR, while 1 EUR is about 270 Ft.
I don't know what to expect, I don't want to risk buying hundreds of the game and then get charged later for hundreds of euros :D

Perhaps you were sarcastic and I just didn't get it, but you know, that 1€ is 270Ft and not vice versa?

yeah, didn't bough more then i planed. Still its a problem for me since for security reasons I always block internet pucharses from my credit card, and only unlock it for the time I'm about to buy stuff.
I sent them support ticket, lets see what they have to say about it

I now realize I didn't understand the situation correctly. I re-read the OP's post and it says they SHOWED the correct price but charged too little. For some reason I understood that they also showed the price wrong, in which case it would be a totally different issue.
So yeah, I have to agree with you, Ekaros. They have the right (which they will probably use) to charge the missing amount of money afterwards.

NO it is not

I'm pretty sure that the price for the game as well as the per-currency prices are set by the publisher. I'm moderately certain the publisher doesn't just enter in one price and Steam converts it based on the buyer's location/currency. Thus this is a publisher screw up. Steam may or may not alert the publisher if you give them a ticket, iunno. It's not really Steam's problem. Since it's a publisher issue and not a Steam issue, if the publisher does "fix" the currency pricing, I don't think that Steam will charge you more or ban you / delete the game just because the publisher wants Steam to make buyers suffer due to the publisher's mistake.

A friend of mine says that if in Poland you buy something from Apple in their appstore for 1€ they block 1zł on your account, but when the blockade is over after a week or so they adjust the amount to the proper value. Maybe it works like this on Steam also now?

One Dollar = one Euro, and now one Zloty. Nothing stranger than Steam exchange rates. Gaben clearly skipped classes when foreign currency lessons were on...
Wonder if it works for Borderlands 2...?

I was also charged 1,04PLN for every copy of Total War I bought, but they propably will charge the rest of money later. I had already few situations with Steam, that they blocked on my card one price, and later there was charged difference between rate of exchange between those days (what's sometimes a bit unfair). However, maybe they won't charge more later, so I bought another one copy :-) . 4 PLN or 1 PLN... it's still very cheap for this game :P .

nah, this is different. I was also charged sometimes bit different price due to exchange rate shifts. But its because of how banks works, store still gets same price.
This time however they charged completely different price, its error someone made.

" Even in email from them it says that price is 1.00 EUR."
Clearly, Steam charged you 1 euro. Your bank, on the other side, reserved smaller amount from your account. That has nothing with Steam. They will take the rest of amount when payment is due (end of month in most banks with international transactions of this kind).

I bought few copies of rome total war. Steam show price as 1 euro, yet they charged me only 1 zloty which is like 0.25 euro. Even in email from them it says that price is 1.00 EUR.
Never happen to me before, so im kinda curious what can happen now? They can charge rest of that price later on? they can refund me money and delete those copies? or nothing will happen and i should be happy that i saved money? :)
