Metro Last Light RU region lock

Well, preorder of metro:LL was locked, but Game seems to be fine for now. Do you have any experiences with it?

Whats the problem? You can always get on the plane, fly to Russia, play the game and come back :P :D

Seems like they turn off that region locking for LL 'cause earlier I saw region restriction warning for it (I live in Belarus which is part of CIS), but now there isn't any.

Once you activate a region locked game, you can play it anywhere. I did this for MW3. I used a Russian VPN to activate it, then disabled the Russian VPN, then was able to play it.

Not all of them. Quite a few games can only be run in specific regions.

this is not the same for every game....use your brain next time.
skyrim RU version for example was only playable using a VPN at that moment when you play the game.

Preorder of RU is region free, and there is no entries in history that suggest that it was ever region locked.
