I like this idea, although I hate it because it requires an api to do and why stop there. Minus well send notifications about comment alerts and such.. So I guess now that I think about it, if you did have a poll. I would vote NO! The system works pretty good how it is. Stop over thinking it.

You could do that by writing on the key-link field when you create the giveaway. But I'm not sure if that's ok with the "system" since that field is there to put keys and redeemable links.

The giveaway creator should be able to give a brief note to the winner in my opinion. This can either be used for Humble Bundle Link Gifts or just to congratulate the winner. This way we shouldn't have to use the e-mail.
