Wizard ain't the only one that can change colors. Won't spoil you by telling you who changes color. Haha.
I have watched the Series from Kabuto to the current Wizard. I recently started watching from the start of the heisei series too. Finished Kuuga recently, not bad but one of the bloodiest Kamen Rider that I have watched. Currently watching Agito.

Showa-wise, I love V3. It seems like he was constantly performing crazy stunts and one-upping Destron. Of course, all Showa shows have a completely different flavor to heisei shows, one that some people just can't deal with or, at the very least, take some time to adapt to.
Heisei-wise, I think W's a great series to start with, if you like a bit of light-hearted mystery. If you like a darker show, go with Kuuga, Agito or Faiz. Specifically, the Agito or Faiz if you want to see likeable characters put into horrible situations, and Kuuga if you want to basically see monster serial killers running around racking up some extraordinarily high body counts. I think Agito's my personal favorite, though W and Faiz both come pretty close. Wizard's pretty good so far, but we'll have to see if it manages to keep it up.
As far as shows to skip... I like Decade, but it's certainly one of the weakest. Kabuto's also weak, in that the plot manages to basically implode and the writers have to do an ass-pull, but it's got better/more interesting characters.
Still, if you have the time, I'd say at least try them all.

Watching the various series sequentially will be problematic, if you want to watch them in English. So far, most of the Showa shows have only been partially translated into English. Or at least competently translated, since I'm sure there's terrible Hong Kong translations for all of them. Only V3, Amazon and Black have complete translations, as far as I know.
Speaking of which, Generation Kikaida's V3 set is really worth the money if you like the show.

Been pretty interested in the series after seeing many videos/covers about it. Was wondering which Kamen Rider show (or the manga) should I start with.
Should I start from the Showa Era or the Heisei Era? Or should I just fk it and watch the whole series from start to finish (will probably take me a long ass time though). I'm thinking of starting from the Heisei Era.
Was also wondering if there were any series that I could possibly skip, I definitely want to watch Kamen Rider Wizard so I might start from there, but should I start form the beginning?
List of Series (from Heisei Era):
