Mine personally is ww2 because you can endlessly find out new stuff about it.

Cretaceous I'd say, I also like the Silurian era, it's cool thinking at some point mushrooms were as big as trees. Also for nostalgia's sake probably, the time period between 1996 to 2007.

I want to know what it was like to be an adult in the 80s.

Familiar enough, but also so drastically different. Imagine going to a freaking library, pffftt!

It wasn't all bad. We had those people called "experts" for all kinds of stuff and relied on their knowledge.
Sometimes a verbal in-person transmission of helpful stuff happened too, from your elders.

Look'ere. I absolutely unequivocally did not for a fact sniff the fresh lovely hardcover copy of The Mythmakers today, ever! The crisp scent wafted into my nose - not the other way round!

I liked the era where we watched Goonies as kids and thought it was both plausible and possible in our own lives.

As I was just marvelling at somebody today: how can Angelina Jolie era be considered old?
But yeah, the Lara Croft movie was about a quarter of a century ago...

Not her per se, but that era. That movie also had a thinner younger Daniel Craig (I'd never realised that) and even Chris Barrie, whom I've only ever saw from the Brittas Empire series. Now the latter has certainly reached senior citizen age :D

Daniel Craig's American accent was hilarious!
Also Iain Glen as the villain!

Oof, I didn't find Iain Glen familiar and after perusing his filmography, turns out I've never really watched productions that he's in. No, not even Game of Thrones! Perhaps I did watch the Resident Evil movies, but they were so mediocre I have no memory of their contents.

I've no ear for horrible accents being not brought up on American/British ones, but now that you mentioned it, no wonder Craig sounded... strange :D

Iain Glen is awesome (you should definitely check out Silo as it's just finished season 2 and it's great)

For me, it has to be The Middle Ages or the Dark Ages. I am fascinated by culture, clothing, architecture, and from it a lot of RPGs and fantasy-themed games arise. Dark Fantasy really fascinates me.
