This, every GTA game (excluding the handheld ones) has been on the PC thus far. It simply works on the PC... There are people who can create mods for it, and also its full graphical potential is used on the PC.

It's strange they didn't release it on the PC instantly, they would've probably achieved around $1.2b - $1.3b revenue instead of $0.8b.

This way they can make even more, a lot of people already bought it on 360 and PS3 and most of them will probably buy it on PC for the mods :P

And some of them will also buy a re-released version on XBox1 and PS4 (which although not confirmed, I imagine will be released as the pre-release GTAV footage looked superior to how it does on the current consoles by a mile)

I suppose that's true... A few PC gamers also bought brand new consoles just to play GTA V early, those guys will definitely buy it again when it's released on a PC.

Don't really get it.

this petition is pointless...they are waiting to finish multiplayers on consoles first.....if they put it out on pc people would go through code and leak it early...

Considering if you reversed engineer the GTA V code already it has comments/settings labeled as for the PC... Unless something majorly goes wrong, it's just a matter of time till the 'bigger boys' get the game released.

it will come to PC and knowing rockstar, the port of the game will be shit, it started with the San Andreas (same engine as GTA3 and Vice City but required for some reason a stronger PC) and GTA IV holy shit, was even worse in that aspect.

They've already announced its coming to PC. That was never even a secret. People in some countries can already pre-order it for PC haha. That petition is really dumb.

I rather forget about the game right now. Pretty sure they're currently busy on patches, DLC's, GTAOnline and so on. Don't think PC version is in their priority right now, they'll announce it in 2-3 months I think.

Restricting a game to consoles would limit their profits, of course it's gonna come to PC at some point. But the port will probably be shit and not worth the money.
