I wishlist. I wishlist a lot.
For one my tastes are broad from indie to top tier and theres too many stuff i would love to play/buy- even if its beyond my lifespan in hourstime; I won't get then all anyway (and... one can wish :) )
But then steam grew. Opened floodgates. Market as whole grew, heck, global population (thus devs) too. Even if steams current and future changes 'fixes' the floodgate releases will always be a exponential increase (unless we face a new game crash to make company for ETs cartridges).

And that doubled or trippled my wishlist as means of marking interesting games to check further later on, helping me curate steam, SG, isthereanydeal...
...times were good again.
Until it became a unmaneageable behemoth.
Its like those favorites and 'read it later' we save and rarely double check. Finding a game i can't recall the title is a shore, amid a bunch of stuff that if i had looked longer the first time around i wouldn't had marked.

Lesson learned.
But i need to fix it now....
...but HOW GOD HOW

1) Anwyay to multi-mark/batch edit wishlist?
Scripts, addons, sorcery, bribing gabe newel- im open to everything, really.

2) Anyway to edit ranks faster?
Some trick/numbering method, script to auto-sort, anything?

3) And to see stats?
Ive seen the unbelievably awesome scripts the community comes up for sg and such... anyway to see stats like in barter.vg, isthereanydeal and such? things like lowest cut, bundled times... doesn't need to be full, any extra stats would do wonders.

And yeah, its slow to open a big wishlist id bet it could take a lot crammed with scripts but worth doing few times for such a bargain as my sanity.

4) Tips, strategies, organizational methods?
I mean, its almost like a game (only a boring and sad one- facing all the stuff you want and can't have yet).

Perhaps more important then 'strategies' to organizing/keeping a wishlist are the ones to prevent/circunvent needing to. Heck i wish steam gave me some API backed list of 'to check' or anything like that.

Also comment about how big and orderly it is and how that makes you feel (your wishlist).**
Mine is actually bigger then my library sitting at 1914 currently- and im failing to reduce it at the pace its increasing since its been some months i didn't checked new releases (didn't even looked at EA yet- i like good EAs, good jewels there) so some pre-sale prospecting is making it even stronger. Im afraid it will try to eat me any second now.

I may follow up later this week about how to attack steam sales (and kill wishlist size the best way there is).
Probably gonna cook some GA as well based on wishlisting just to keep with the theme.

I don't wish. I want i do it. Wishfull thinking is for weaklings.
As empty as my wallet after a sale
As full as my backlog... i mean, my dreams.
No need for one. I wish it ALL. Of steam. All of it. Gabe included.
As tiny and tidy and orderly as possible - i could probably recall it in order by memory. Its called REALISM.
Don't care or think about size, only that is orderly. Not lying, size is overrated, its all about how you use it.
Freestyle: no order, no tought, not a care in the world. Im a free spirit so let it be as wild as my dreams.
I don't actually like it. Don't ask.
Like my coffee..no sorry, failed
I wish i had an opnion
potato
