Does this poll answer its own question?
Indeed, I too have found myself in the "eyes are bigger than the stomach" situation a few times, so I'm loving the new changes to the point system. Thanks for the giveaways as well, bro. :)
Play them, enjoy them
Short and to the point. I love it. ;_;

This could be a parody of Nelly Furtado's "Promiscuous."

It may have been lost in the half-delirious after-hours rush of typing, but I just feel that if I've been playing those same games as my normal go-to option in spite of wins here, it's poetic that I'd try to give them back to the community. Also, something about Bad Rats on the toilet.

as for your minecraft mention, i recommend it for two things.
if you're into open world (and it might as well be near infinite open world generated) with either respawning, or hardcore one death only mode. (and of course everyone knows how theres a creative mode where you can run wild with legos.. uh i mean meter blocks)
or multiplayer to enjoy it with friends n family.

Leechers Anonymous.
Atleast if I win Telltale game, it should be finished soon seeing how it's just an interactive book... something for dinner instead of the VN's of now :) (though QTE's probably a bit harder, still, telltale games are short and so little interactive they're easy to fit inbetween any other gaming actvity).

Moo everyone. I'm the lurker type, but I've followed recent thread discussions about changes to the point system. I don't really care either way, but some of the comments led me to some reevaluation.
With all the discussion about increased opportunities, I considered that maybe the extra points in my bank had always only been splurged because they were there; maybe my winning devil-may-care point-dumping entry in the 10th "Bad Rats: GOTY" giveaway of the morning took the slot of some eager series fanatic, who had graciously and gratefully joined the same giveaways while sitting in the bideted comfort of her Bad-Rats-themed bathroom. What could have been hours of legitimate entertainment was instead minutes of curiosity punctuated by a quick uninstall.
I looked at my Steam library recently, a hundred games categorized under "Play Soon," most installed, most excellent, most only played a bit. Some came from wins here, some were bought, some are free in the store. Here, except for the wishlist titles I was more passionate about, I always tried to enter giveaways that I would at least want to install and give a whirl, satisfied even if the storefront previews ultimately differed from actual playing experience. However, those recent discussions have created some guilt from previous wins that I just do not have time to play more fully, due both to outside commitments and the long-standing distraction of other personal favorite games, which are always a reliable go-to option when coming home after a busy day. I came to terms that I more consistently fall back on the same few titles, barring the interruption of the fortunate bundle game win here.
Nearing 700 hours played over half a decade, this game in particular lies at my juncture between fun, creativity, education, and explosions: Ju9TS
Worse, I looked in the library and saw a leecher, in the sense of my simple curiosity and gambling instinct having gotten the better of someone's legitimate interest. Even standing here on the periphery, I do appreciate this community, and even though I only moo every now and then, I do skim the forums every day.
I never played the source material, but it also took off like a rocket, and I'm a fan of the company that adapted this series: rQSYV
To make up for [what I feel to have been] losing sight of [what I consider to be] the goal of this community--sharing and enjoying-- I wanted to toss out three giveaways for games that have been consistent sources of entertainment for me. They all end on Halloween, China time, and all should be region-free.
Another series that I sank hundreds of hours in, sifting through piles of never-changing rubble to find pieces of the past: LeHA3
Play them, enjoy them, and moo to you.
