Mobile Steam is being a bitch

It's working for me. Sent a message on it too. I like in the states not sure if that matters.

My best bet is Google Play is finding fault with some of the code in the new versions, and thus Steam can't update it.
The problem is most likely to be Steam switching to a new "network" which the old app does not know where. Thus, it keeps getting stuck on trying to connect.
If Steam had just released the apk on their site directly, they could have updated it faster.

It always is, never works properly for me.

The android app has been acting strange for me. It constantly tries to connect even after I completely exit the app.

Steam mobile hasn't been updated since release.

iOS for me is working very well. Maybe try to "restore" android device or just delete it?
