Probably Supreme Commander 2, i hardly got any gifts from people on Steam that are actually my friends, those selfish bastards!
Even though i'm the type of person who does random key drops to a select few on my friends, the kind of people i keep some connection in a way or another, like people i know and trust for years on steam.
And no, you may not add me to ask for free games. I've had some smartasses trying to befriend me just to get freebies from bundles or extra copies from 4 packs. It didn't work out obviously.

Reply to first reply, cause why not?
My friend gifted me Borderlands on steam because my non-steam copy had problems with installing (i unistalled it but it was showing i still have it). We tried to fix it for 2 weeks, after that time he said "Here is my steam pass, check if it will work from steam." It worked so he gifted me a game.

Nothing:/ I gifted humble 2k bundle 1$ games to my friend tho.

That's funny, same here. Got gifted Bioshock Infinite a few months ago by a friend on Steam.
He bought it then realized that he didn't have space on his computer to install it, so he gave it to me. :)

Lol, surely he would have just made space if he wanted to play it?

Velvet Assassin. Not a great game, but certainly the best I got from a friend. Given that others I got from said friend are Ravensword Shadowlands and Alpha Prime.

Well..let's see, shall we? A story so cliche it's sad to even try to make fun of it, cut-scenes with cringe inducing dialogue made all the more pitiful by absolutely horrendous voice-acting. Graphics that look like grandma's paintings, horrible enclosed spaces level design that makes me want to hurl, boring and repetitive combat with absolutely no innovation whatsoever and with one of the most retarded enemy AIs I've seen in an FPS probably since Pankiller. But at least in Painkiller the idiotic AI was intentional and used to contrast with the ridiculous number of them popping up on the screen. Here, it just makes the game-play a stupid, boring chore. What else can I say? Oh yeah, sounds like shit too. The weapons sound as if shooting a pea through a fucking straw. The music is probably the only element in the game which is not totally horrible, but make no mistake...it's still pretty bad. I have NOTHING good to say about this game. It's a fucking joke. And not even a funny one. It's probably the first case in which I'm actually glad a game is laughably short.

I just got Bioshock from one of my awesome friends! It makes me wonder, what is the best game you've gotten from a friend?
EDIT: Sweet! I got Spec Ops: The Line and Bioshock 2 from a friend! Still, the best one for me was Civilization V. Too good. Why else do you think my Steam username is "Emperor Gandhi?"
