Yeah i know i shouldnt accept a trade with a key but i did . Im pretty new on steam and i dont know what to do now ( i know that i cant get the game back but i really want to report this idiot ) . I sent him the gift , got a non working key and he deleted me immediately . Luckily i had a window opened and i managed to report him . After that i couldnt access his profile page .Did he change his name ? Did my report was received from steam ( i got a thank you message) and lastly how can i find him again ?

I guess i learned the hard way . Never again .

Thanks

Go to gift history, and you'll see him. Report him on steamrep.

I think you're thinking of a refund.

Nope. Check out their official policy. You get nothing. You shouldn't be deterred from trading, only from trading where you're too inexperienced to know how to do it safely.

That's only if you traded within the trade window (both parties), and the person revoked their payment on the item they gave you (thus canceling/making it disappear). You cannot get your game(s) back when you trade for something that does not go into the trade window. Once you clicked Accept, that was it as far as Valve is concerned.
