Probably Raptr reached out to Valve or something like that to unlock the codes. They did say "If you're having region lock probs with today's Dead Island reward - we're on the case and will update you via your Raptr email addy. ...until then, hold on to your codes. Thanks for your patience and understanding!" via Twitter. I doubt we will have any problems with our accounts. And from what i saw when i activated mine it was showing (RO/ROW) or something likethat ( i clicked the next tab way too qickly from excitment :D ).

even without the region lock Dead Island is still on the exploited list of keys anyway

germany may still be on the restricted list as it has it's own (heavily cut) Dead Island version, so you may need to get it gifted on steam instead if you want it uncut

NA+ROW version is what is says at the moment of activation. I don't know more than that.

not exactly i own dead island already... was also a key.. but eastern version... maybee the key that raptr gave us is a western key... i dont know... but i hope they will fix it... but i gave the key a friend and he said today its invalid... we live in the same town.

Yeah, not gonna happen. They had 5000 keys, 5000 keys were sent out. It doesn't matter if you were able to get one because of site errors or not, 5000 people did, and that's how many were meant to get it. Better luck next time!

Can't speak for everyone else, but I was excited for this because it's basically the only way for me to get this game.

Can't buy it on Steam, can't import it, probably couldn't even accept it as a gift if I found a willing dosh proxy.

Not everyone makes 20 dollars an hour first off, second off I HIGHLY doubt people spent hours sending in a note to raptr or posting a couple messages on a board, thirdly the games actually rated pretty decently, so not sure what you are going on about.

bitching, they have every right to inquire or complain about an item, game, w/e they earned but does not work. So if Raptr decides not to do this it's cause of their screw up not others asking for what they rightfully earned imho.
