Solution: buy on a legit site, not some car trunk-reseller.

And what is legit site? Almost every unofficial retailer have sometimes shady keys.

Perhaps the answer is in the question...? All of the grey market re-sellers are on the very fringes of legitimacy.

/r/GameDeals has a pretty well summed up list of legit & authorized sellers.

If you count grey sites as legit... Buying from them is safe, but pages like GMG aren't always clear as snow.

GMG is as an authorized reseller, 100% legit, so I have no idea what are you even talking about.

Yeah in 99% (probably less). But when they can get cheaper keys, they took the chance. Every retailer doing this and only 100% legit are steam, origin, uplay, etc.

What buyer? In OP you said you were the buyer.

Sounds like he's selling keys he doesn't have expecting to get them at a set price but his cheapest source dried up so he has to try to extort his buyer for more cash.

I see, thanks for clarification. Seems like he's trying to solicit a trade here in this thread too, which is a no-no.

It's Gaben, he is telling you to stop buying from thief's. :p, he tries to save your wallet.

But it´s cheaper than steam...
And there is no proof that G2A where the ones stealing keys, they even gave out keys to those who lost their games.

This is a common problem with G2A, your payment goes through, money gets booked from your credit card and then after that their system rejects your payment.

The worst part is that sometimes you have to go to your bank and fill an application to manually delete the booking from your credit card so you still have your full limit for that month.

My warm suggestion is to avoid G2A, use Kinguin or trustes traders instead and you get always better deals. There are plenty of traders who sell for PayPal, not only keys.

This isn't really the place to ask for this kind of transaction though, I think you should try the trades section, since you are asking for a trade with someone.

Closing.
