This really shouldn't have taken me so long ;D
Especially as I'm living in the same country and speaking the same native language... this should have been an advantage! : D
But the hint on Q8 really distracted me more than it helped me ; )
Thank you for this fine puzzle and the train : )

Huh. Seems there is an SG cluster here -- have a look at the first comment in the first train GA ... :)
But actually my profile is lying a little :P moved 25km out to a smaller city two years ago. But Steam doesn't care to include that city in the list for the profile, so I just shrugged and left it the way it was. :)

Just wanted to bump this, because you have two and a half hours left for solving this, which is perfectly manageable and the GA for Shadowrun Returns, which is such a great game, has only four entries yet! Four! That's a 20% chance even if YOU enter it, too ; )
Give the fruits a try! : )

Don't worry, it's not really a problem.
The real problem is that I could recognize only a couple, despite having graduated from a school of agriculture... (I don't exactly know how those schools are called in English)
It's not my fault, though, because there were no botanics lessons in my course. (What a shame!)

Well when I start typing "horn beam" into Google, I already get "hornbeam tree" as a suggestion ... I had hoped that would be enough for anyone who never heard that name before :) ... although Nordh noted that the horn looks like a claw. Hm.
That blue / red was the original hint before I changed it. I had the feeling that hint was more confusing than really helpful. Apparently, hornbeam is sometimes called blue beech in North America (although it's not really a beech), and then Q10 is called a red beech. Some other languages make similar mistakes (Hainbuche in German, haagbeuk in Dutch etc).

Oh, I get it.
I tried looking for some blue/red tree but I couldn't get any significative result.
Tried hornteletransport, hornhologram and so on but I didn't think of beam :v
Guess it was too complicated for me to do all the translations and didn't get lost. Also, I had never seen such tree before =P

Solution
I'm pleasantly surprised that someone actually asked for this ... here are the solutions to the ITH. When the puzzle ended, there 2334 guess by 167 players; 27 solved the puzzle. (Adding this summary here because posting the solution makes the stats on the ITH page pretty much worthless.)
Puzzle
No, this is not a Billie Holiday puzzle. It's literally about fruits. Since many of you liked my leaves puzzle, I decided to have a spring/summer version of this :)
Just like last time, I took the pictures myself, so don't waste your time googling ... unless you like Google to helpfully guess "plant" and show you lots of random leaf stuff. (Here, have a free hint: All the pictures show plants. One picture has a bonus phone booth. Google does not recognize the phone booth.)
Difficulty depends on "climate of origin" (sorry) ... it should range from "very easy" to "hard if you have never seen the trees, but very much solvable once the ITH hints show up". I'll try to adjust the hints if needed, so ... feedback would be appreciated! (And I already thought of some more hints, but let's see how well you do without ;)
So without further ado, here's the puzzle. And don't forget the mood music :)
Usual rules apply. Don't share any solutions, blah blah.
Giveaways: 8 bundled level 1+ (3x Tiny Bridge: Ratventure, Outland, Shadowrun Returns, Gods Will Be Watching, How to Survive, How to Survive: Third Person Standalone), 1 unbundled level 3+ (Submerged)
End time: June 15, 19:00 CEST (UCT+2)
Something else: I had planned to do this puzzle for some time; it was more "waiting for the right time of year" than "waiting for an occasion". That said, I still feel that I have a small reason to celebrate ... see the image below. I don't want any pats on the back for that or anything, that would somehow feel inappropriate. It's more like ... Just wanted to share this because I'm happy that I'm finally back from "terrible leech" to "decent human being". ... yay? :)
