Of course there are more platforms than Steam where you can claim the game. This doesn't change the fact Germans can't get it on Steam though which is the preferred platform for most.

Well sadly after Steam applied that Germany lock thing after regulations requiring age rating in Germany, so probably currently no free way to grab it as free, unless they get a Steam key for the game (Although if they apply a country restriction on the key as well then F)

Sometimes people forget that Windows will "secretly" append .txt to their filename. I think the instruction like "download this file" will be better than "create an empty file with this name".

MangaGamer is a bit confusing because when I went to check out I saw this:
"Transaction amount less than $5.00 can not be processed."
If you just click 'next' it works though, since it's not a transaction at all. Didn't have to put in any credit card info.
They have a 'free downloads' section too but far as I can see it's only things like wallpapers and adult patches and free demos.
Could be a decent place to adult adult patches for censored steam games but I haven't tested if they're compatible.

So I noticed something really funny in the depots we get with the freebie.

We also get the OST and artbook depots, but no license to actually use them. The only app we get is the game one. And I'm not sure if it was intentional. I asked the dev if we were supposed to get that bonus stuff too but since it was on Twitter no one saw my comment.

Somehow the free promotional license is attached with BasePackage HuniePop Deluxe Edition, maybe it's due to that?
