I find shaky-cam more annoying. Every episode of 24 looks like the cameraman really need to go for a piss.

This. Every Lars Von Trier movie makes me feel like i'm on a fucking boat during a storm.

It does successfully add to the suspense or feeling of involvement in some cases, but sometimes it's just too much. I'm looking at you District 9.

It's not a bad style, but sometimes it feels overused.

I hate spoilers. I hate them so much that I impose media blackouts on myself for games that I want to play. I really want to play Dark Souls 2, and it's really hard to avoid every piece of information about the game. But if you set your mind to it, it's possible.
All I knew about Skyrim for about a year was that it was snowy and maybe had dragons.
I saw the very first trailer for Dark Souls 2 and I haven't seen or heard of any details since then.

It doesnt help that DS2 is being released a full month after console too. I dont have many YT subscriptions, but about a third of those I do are DS channels!

I very much dislike it. And I also very much dislike the next scene that has the text, "12 hours earlier" (or whatever time frame they used). Every time I see that technique used I sort of groan in annoyance. I agree that it's like a spoiler. And then in the middle of the episode they waste the time to show you the complete scene a second time. My own personal opinion is that they should either skip the preview scene entirely, or continue from there without going back to an earlier point in time. But that's just me. I'm happy for you if you like it when that happens, because it seems to happen more and more often.

It's amazing what you learn when you try to avoid spoilers. Even going to IMDB to see who's in a TV show you want to watch could spoil something for you. Say you notice that a certain character is only in 20 episodes while everyone else is in 30. You know that character is going to leave the show somehow.
Boom, you just spoiled a bit of it for you.

I feel the same way when I see a "Next time" thing. But when it actually comes to watching that episode, I get so involved in it I never think back to what I saw last time.

How do you guys feel about movies, TV shows or games when they show something that happens in the middle of the film right at the start? I personally am starting to get real sick of it as it sometimes feels like a spoiler in a way. I don't know how many of you have played spec ops the line, but it was pretty unnecessary when they did it in that.
This may seem a bit random, I just want to know if it's just me or other people feel the same way.
