Entering giveaways for owned games

Wait for their reroll request, and don't reroll :D

Rerolls normally happen quite fast. It's normally better to hide that kind of games behind an SGTools gate so people take care what they enter for. You're also going to avoid script-joiners that way who aren't even aware what they enter for.

I've had two rerolls so far and they were both granted within a few hours.
I guess best you can do for your running giveaways is wait and see if the winner is gonna own the game already. If that's the case, open a ticket. As said, if it's something as easy as the winner already owning a game, support grants rerolls pretty fast and without questions.

Also I don't believe that the problem lays 100% with SG for people being able to enter owned games. It has to do with their frequency of syncing their accounts and with the steam database as well.

I just created a few giveaways, and from some of them I know that SG doesn't flag them as owned and therefor people can enter them while already owning the game.

I tried enter all your current ga's - and i can't, cause i already have all this games

What can you do to prevent this from happening? Make invite-only ga's for this games xD

I've recently found it's easier for the user to make their own ticket and deal with that nonsense.
They were the idiot that joined a GA for a game they already own right? Fuck em
I really hate it when you make a high level GA and get less entries than keys.. then you can't even reroll! That's the best.
