One of my grandfathers died before I was born, other one died of cancer when I was 6 years old, one grandmother had an emergency surgery about a day ago, she is fine. Sorry for your loss.

Sorry to hear that... I lost my centenarian grandmother months ago.
Luckily, I braced myself years before it happened, and didn't think she would live for so many more years. Still, no matter how much you ready yourself, a death always hurt. Always.

Sorry to hear that, but at least you got to know your grandfather (not like me), you will have his memories forever!

I'm so sorry. It's a shame whenever someone passes away, as it's a part of the history of the world slipping away into oblivion. I hope you find comfort and solace in the legacy of his life.

Only one of my grandparents died from something other than cancer, so I know how it can be. My condolences. Those who have departed from us continue to live on in our memories and the way they touched our lives. It sounds to me like your grandfather was very active in the lives of others, leaving behind a rich legacy.

My teacher lost his Grandpa last week too. Condolences for you both. May them rest in peace.
